It's quite clear to me that plenty of anti JB posters did'nt actually play much 11 aside football after leaving school.
The complete lack of team ethic.
An outlook at a game that is defeatist.
Taking every stinking opportunity to undermine the coach and team spirit.
Possibly the kind of dickhead that insisted his employees went on a patronising day out,to create team spirit because someone at the squash club suggested this to be "a cool idea guuuuys".
fing puke.
In my day,any team mate that spouted such useless rubbish,would of been pinned against a dressing room wall ,told to buck up or bugger off.
I would of thought we would of learnt to give a manager a fair crack of whip.
I will reassess JB after 10 games.

We have as much chance of promotion with Barton in charge, as Oscar Pistorius has of catching athletes foot.

Bas is cracking under the strain of it all, and we're only 5 games in to our promotion season.
What he seems to struggle with is that if we were top of the division then the complaints emanating from this side of the room could easily be brushed aside, but we aren't, we are 90th out of 92 teams. And only the width of the crossbar on Saturday stopped us from being 91st.

No we won't. Barton, being what he is, has been so divisive we won't come out of this stronger. And our national reputation is harmed. Thoroughly disappointing to hear when i bet they wanted Lennie Lawrence gone,to see if PT could manage alone.

Can I just register that I'm not so much a 'sack Barton' person as a 'That man should never have been appointed, on ability and approach as well as character grounds, and the sooner he's gone the better (and then we've still got the worry that the club was crass enough to pull a dumb-ass move like that in the first place, so my confidence in it is severely knocked)' person. I wouldn't like to be sold short, or for there to be any misunderstanding. |

Absolutely right Bas. Sides that can’t win the ball back won’t be winners, no matter how pretty their football. Sides that finish in top,10,after,the marathon season most likely have sound defence records, hence Forest Green appear to be going well, but their defensive record is 17th, watch them struggle, their goalie is rubbish, their defenders uselessly small and their wing backs absent more often than ours. Stats to watch for in our win over Crawley - tackles, headers, interceptions and clean sheet Our surge to promotion will begin there. |
