A slightly more significant goal. Plus DC could do no wrong in my eyes. I take your point. Will keep my thoughts on Barton to myself. I'm happy for everyone who enjoyed yesterday's game. I wish I could share the joy but I'm afraid I struggle to connect with Rovers atm. Hoping for an early or late birthday present for myself and Dr F  Oh.... that's a shame .... I advocate free speech and freedom of expression, obviously with no incitement to violence, which your posts have never done.... and no matter how much agree or disagree, welcome opinion. I like the celebration of Gas goals, because it's one of the few, very few times we are united in time as a fanbase! .... and to observe reaction of others at that moment is..... stimulating. Absolutely, I don't think anybody wants to censor free speech. It just helps the flow of the forum if views are expressed in the relevant threads, then people can decide to avoid a topic if they wish to do so. Subjects such as the matchday thread are obviously going to ebb and flow with negatives and positives, depending on how we've played at any given time. |

Can't see the forum ever being 'tidied up' tbh. Threads have always gone off topic, or simply got muddled. When you've got so many that involve the same thing, it's bound to happen. I'll try to remember to only post on threads titled JB - or maybe to only post on ones not titled JB. I'm sure if I step out of line someone will put me right, or simply take the thread back to topic. All threads disappear in time anyway*. *Was going to add a little wish of my own to that, but managed to restrain myself  |

I'll try to remember to only post on threads titled JB - or maybe to only post on ones not titled JB. I'm sure if I step out of line someone will put me right, or simply take the thread back to topic. All threads disappear in time anyway*.

Very true. But it has stayed there due to the vehemence of 6-10 posters (incl me at times) who may not reflect the feeling of the wider BRFC fan base. So perhaps not a true reflection of the overall feeling of the fans at large. On Saturday in the East Stand it was a great atmosphere with everyone there behind BRFC. Of course we will let the powers that be deal with all the legal stuff when it comes and expect our owner to maintain his stance regarding what he said back along. UTG! ps. I see someone made reference to the other forum. No need, this forum has been very good over the past year, good conversations, good debate and all done usually in a good spirit. It stands in it’s own right, no need to compare with the other place. Well done epping! I would also add that despite the divisiveness of JB, that appointment has played a part in engendering debate and helped keep this place lively. (Even if that’s not a popular sentiment! And that debate has more or less stayed the right side of the line without becoming abusive. Just! Good to see Sunday Shoveller back, hope mango and PHE return soon. UTG! |
