Small world, Kevin. Blimey! The Jolly Sailor was our Sunday lunch pub. What a damn shame. Nice to see there's a 'GoFundMe' appeal for the couple that run it now. John Turner is the ex Torquay keeper and brother of Robbie Turner. We are good friends.

Crewe Alexandra's solicitors are writing to you as we speak! Halifax are lacing their boots... In mittigayshun, I did say that there were "some others" too. If the above clubs do insist on their day in court, I`ll just pretend admit that I`m not very bright.

Exeter City have never played above the 3rd tier of English football
They finished 2nd in div3 south in 1933 but only 1 went up.
They are another phoenix who dropped out of the league in 2006 for a few seasons.

Same starting line up for me today, apart from Coutts coming in for Grant.

Wayne Carlisle is their assistant manager. They are 51% fan owned and currently have £5m in the bank. Exeter City played against Brazil in 1914 in what was Brazil's first ever match. They have just received planning permission for improvements to their Cliff Hill Training Ground. Bend it like Carlisle. (F/F to 3:30 ... although the vid is only 4:14)

"Terry Cooper and Paul Tisdale managed both clubs, that is where the comparison ends..."
Um, and God Gerry of Francis. He managed there too, disastrously.
Strange, this one.....I wouldn't be surprised at any result.
We definitely have enough to win the match, it's whether we apply ourselves correctly. And whether the changes made by Exeter can outwit JAB..
They've got Amond. We were coveting him a few years ago.......well have sell out support, so I'll predict.:
2-0 Gas win. Keep Belly in goal. Keep 2 up front. We might have a chance ..

[br Is that the game where the height of the goals were queried, being deemed to low? I think you mean too high at one end if so that was the first ever game at The Mem a few years earlier.

Same starting line up for me today, apart from Coutts coming in for Grant. In spite of the red card, Coutts had 73% pass completion v Mansfield, 15% higher than Grant on Tuesday

13 away defeats in our last 16 away matches. Last win was 5 Dec 20 at AFC Wimbledon. Thats 259 days ago.
Time to break that bad record today.
Exeter have failed to score in their opening four league and cup matches.
Like us The Grecians find it hard to score.
Perhaps a goal less draw. But prefer a late winner from Pittman off the bench.

Not fatal in terms of the predicted automatic promotion, still long way to go. But undoubtedly an awful start. if we win, it’s two wins in a week. No reason to get carried away though - as well as unbeaten runs we will need to show performances where we are in control, unlike Tuesday night.

Interesting. Grant keeps his place....fair play. I thought he would be sacrificed for Coutts.
Brandon on bench. So too, Jaaks.

Kevin Bonds presence might offer another reason for players to give it their all today.
Although it seems to me we have 100%-ers these days anyway.
