Our first match of the new year
Personally thought all professional football would be suspended as the pandemic as reached this stage.
However the first opportunity of the team to prove to PT and gasheads that the dire performance at MK last time out was a blimp.
We sure now need the boost of three points to pull us clear of the relegation position.
Any new strikers brought in will essential as the over realience on Hanlan cannot be expected in the second half of the season.

With the new strain of the virus ready to rip through the rest of the country, I find it quite baffling that the season is progressing. I wonder how many Match Day Threads we'll get through before the Govt realises. Hey ho. Here's to 3 points today and a much needed bounce back after the MK Dons game - where by all accounts we didn't turn up. UTG.

I agree, today is all about a reaction, and the bounce back. poor hardon though, all on his own up there, his job is back to goal and hold the ball so we can transition from defence to offence. No transition no team performance. But the second part of transition equation is runners into channels. For all the people on this forum praising McCormack and Nicholson it’s only Daly really who has effectively partnered Hardon and been a goal threat. |
