Posting this without a lot else to add, im having a bad day and theres nothing worth watching for an hour.
1st evening match of the season, I miss home evening matches.
I went to Shrewsbury to see us a few years back, really liked the place, didnt like the twat who wouldn't sit down next to me. Charles Dickens was from Shrewsbury, Michael Palin went to school there. I once had a tel conv with Palin, exactly the same as he is on tv which was nice.
Confusingly, Shrewsbury has nothing to do with shrews, seriously you couldn't make this up. I like shrews, i like their cute faces and long noses. I like that they hide away and i dont even mind the fact that they carry lots of parasites. If they find out theres a place called Shrewsbury all hell could break lose, all of them pouring in, the pitch would be unplayable, claims for residency, law suits, anything could happen.
Oztumer to start.

Where’s Rodman? if a shrew bites you, cut it open and rub its innards on your wound straight away.

I suppose there is a chance Shrews might think Shrewbury is a mass graveyard for them.Where they get ,huh huh,'buried'. Buried is what happened to Rovers on my last trip there.4 0 in the Shrews promotion challenging season,a couple of years or so ago. I think we can win especially with our defence concentration hats on.

yeah don’t forget ladies and gentlemen, six gmt tomorrow. Tune in at 6pm GMT for the second half. Be there by 6pm BST (5pm GMT) for the first half. Don't miss the first half on the Emperor's account. He's just testing out Charles Dickens's theory of evolution by natural selection by putting his clocks back a week early. He only has to turn his decision making up a notch and he could be very good.

It's another building block in the managers quest to avoid being put on garnering leave!

Where are former Shrews Rodman and Ogogo ? The later scored the winner in a seven goal thriller last season!

The first half is going to be perfectly missable. It’s all going to happen for us in the second half. But you can still watch the first half if you want, 5pm GMT 6pm Salop time. hopefully no one tunes in at 1945 bst for the whistle and words “what a second half that was by rovers”

Anyone know why it's a 6pm kick off? Surely that means a lot of people won't be home in time for ko and therefore less likely they will buy a match pass. Strange decision given the dire financial straits that all EFL Clubs find themselves in.

That's one way to admit you were wrong. I was wrong. There’s a pattern developing here. My late evening work has errors in it. 10 minutes previously I booked 36th of this month off as days leave. Much to my bosses amusement this morning. I was trying to warn everybody of deceptive kick off time, because I didn’t realise till I bought the match late last evening. At least the posts here getting the message across. as to the first half, truth is I think starting matches strong is important to Garners young side. They went behind at Lincoln, but played so well in first half it may have given them momentum and belief.

Give Jacko time to get in from job as you say.

Strange decision given the dire financial straits that all EFL Clubs find themselves in. Also annoying if you're abroad or pretending to be and have already bought all games a month in advance. Question is, if you get back at halftime and we're winning 0-2 do you buy the second half at full price and would you still pay full price halftime 0-0 or losing 2-0?

Our manager wants his players home and tucked up in bed early.

Yep i think ozt to replace mccormick.
Palin - rang where i was working for a car brochure, instantly recognisable voice, millions of accents and you recognise one straight away, started chatting about travelling and chatting and chatting, really nice guy.
6pm is weird, not sure if a time they are not use to can help performance, sane for both sides though.
