i don’t often start a thread. But we are just hours away from Bristol Rovers first proper match of the season, how exciting is this? I thought we can build in some build up to it.
presumably this will be the strongest Eleven we can put out on the day? So what formation and who is playing where?
have we named Captain and vice for season?
a good question to clear up early, how do we get to watch it, is it iFollow?

It's not on Radio Bristol. Are you sure? Won't be online but I'd be surprised if commentary wasn't on the radio.

Someone else has the rights I guess, but I don't think I've ever known a situation where radio weren't allowed to cover a game. Just checked Radio Suffolk, they reckon they've got commentary. Not online of course, but if they can cover it why can't Radio Bristol. All nonsense imo. www.bbc.co.uk/schedules/p00fzl8p/2020/09/05

From Ipswich's fans site: Manager Paul Lambert has given midfielder Flynn Downes a couple of days off “to clear his head” following Crystal Palace’s offers and the 21-year-old handing in a transfer request. Lambert says Downes won’t be involved in Saturday’s opening game of the season, the Carabao Cup first round tie against Bristol Rovers at Portman Road.
As previously reported, Town rebuffed offers from the Eagles of £1.2 million and then £1.6 million with the England U20 international subsequently making it known to the club that he would be interested in the move.

So the chances are it will be on the radio,if that makes sense.

Makes no sense at all Bas, I should take a few days off to clear your head, someone might come in and offer you £ 1.8 million for your copy of the Radio Times.

Thread opener, the game "just hours away".That was about 50 hours before kick off then.😏I mean we could measure the time it takes to get man on Mars in hours too! Anyway,I mistook it for meaning the game was tonight.Etc.. I managed to get a couple of other things wrong today too.Hopefully that's 3 cock ups out of the way now.😊
