I think our recent good form will continue, with Joe keeping players feet firmly on the ground, making sure they appreciate Tranmere will be another tough nut to crack.
Sion Spence,maybe a start?
He must be 'banging at the selection door' now.I suspect another place on the bench with a likely appearance at some stage.
Tranmere are a point above us,in 12th position.
Gasheads will no doubt play apart. My City fan neighbour told me he could hear the Mem on Tuesday night and that's just about Easton (Eastville, but Easton side of the M32).
Hopefully a 7000 plus attendance because our new and exciting team, thoroughly deserve our best Gashead support.
Looking forward to it.
Come on Rovers!

Time we got that goal difference improved. The way things are going recently (first half against Exeter aside), the confidence and momentum that's built up should see us to another win.
Our Rovers 4, Birkenhead Rovers 1.

When I was nipper Steve, I lived in Lockleaze, near the playing fields, a hop-skip-and-a-jump from Purdown. Anyway, when me and my Dad got home after the game, my Mum would know the result. Not from the looks on our faces, but she could gauge the score from Eastville, purely from the crowd noise. Of course, in those days we regularly had crowds of twenty-five thousand plus, occasionally over thirty thousand. To my Mum, they might as well have been in the kitchen. We would shout . . . #UpTheROVERS

We have played Tranmere only 33 times, W 16, D 7, L 10, We have won 3-0 & 3-1, have lost 5-2 and there was a 3-3 draw.
Tranmere have the best defence in the division conceding only 11, but have the worst strikeforce to with only 11, something has to give.
Tranmere have lost their last 3 league games but have won 2 cup games during this time too.
Manager Micky Melon started his playing career at BCFC82ltd + various others including Tranmere, has also managed the Trannies before.
Tranmere have played at Prenton Park for over 100 years, Main rivals are Chester, Wrexham & Southport but not Liverpool or Everton.
Present player Tom Davies played 22 games for us, a bad run of injuries curtailed his pitch time and we had to let him go.
Should be a very tough game on saturday, my gut says a 1-0 home win.

My first ever Rovers match was against Tranmere, it was a Tuesday evening game back around the 68 / 69 season or there and there abouts, anyway we won that one 3 - 1 so a similar scoreline this Saturday would be very welcome and would continue our 'push' up the league.

I've a good feeling about this current Rovers squad.Possibly with a few additions I think it could be our most exciting team for many years!

BRFC 3 Tranmere 1 - 6th April 1968 - League Division Three - Attendance 6,602 - Ray Mabbutt top scorer that season with 11 - Rovers finished 15th.

In the 16 league games this season Tranmere have scored 11 goals and conceded the same number. In only 2 games have both sides scored! In no match has any team managed to score more than 2 goals! I can see this one ending 4-4!!!

Hope it's not a dumb question - but can you pick up RadBris DAB online? If you mean on the BBC website, I think that only worked for our season in the Conference. A few weeks back I was down in Looe, Cornwall, on holiday. For some unknown reason, the TV in the static caravan had Radio Bristol in the list of channels. Unfortunately, it picked up the commentary on the City game rather than Rovers. Fortunately, that meant I missed the commentary of us losing at home to Newport. Fortunately, I got to laugh at Gary Owers moaning about City getting played off the park by West Brom.

They don't have any TV or radio in the ward I'm in but I can pick up RadBris FM online on their website, om my phone . Course, if they put today's Rovers game on DAB, I'm stuffed, unless the staff can rustle me up a DAB radio.

Just to make anyone aware that cares....the temporary traffic lights Filton Ave/Muller Rd have GONE!
Another tough match ahead of us today. With recent upturn in form, and especially Tuesday nights farse, we should be ultra confident today. The first time in a long time.
A proper 6pointer, we go above Tranny if we win adds extra incentive.
Rainy Mem, maybe one or two returning (Whelan for one) and playing a team inconsistent. What's not to like....?
Lord mayor's show, pride before a fall or another win to carry on winless streak? (Not including Exeter)
I'll predict 2-0 home win. Send the scousers back pointless. 6789 attendance. Bring on the juice of the apple..
UptheGas!
