I am as well. I reckon we could probably pull off a daring heist of mail money in transit then retire to Spain or somewhere where there’s no extradition treaty. As you say, I’m surprised no-one’s tried it before. I think impregnating a Brazilian woman would aid freedom. Just don't get ill in later life. I like the idea re the Brazilian woman. I don’t think there’d be too much hassle from the modern day Police. The likes of Tommy Butler are no more I’m afraid. The steely-eyed, cold-hearted, lantern-jawed, single minded Police Detectives of yore have been replaced by social workers more interested in no -existent hate crime and form filling.

How did you manage to get home on the train? I tried every combo I could think of and the only way to get back to Bristol on the same day was to catch something like the 1620 from Hartlepool, which kind of defeated the object of going. After that, it was a 16 hour journey, getting back early Sunday. I didn't get back home, I got back. Back to the digs. I was on the train out of Hartlepool....fair play, their fans were in celebratory mood and I got covered with their alcohol as much as mother and daughter did in carriage. Honestly.... there's so much to explore up there non football related. Apologies if I mislead, my just got back was a bit mischievous... That’s fair enough. I just couldn’t work out how you’d managed to get back to Bristol by train. I did every combination possible and couldn’t make it work, I thought I must have missed something.

Post Match Dave Challinor to give it some balance.
We were unfortunate to lose.

He was in a shocking state, come the end.
Bob Welch is the last man standing. The rest have all gone to that great open prison in the sky.

We are not a million miles away and must not sack Barton for football reasons until he has had at least the 2nd window or 20 games depending on the position. I would like to see Rovers win games they're not supposed to though, starting with next week.

We can't, having backed him to overhaul the team and then give someone the same issue he had in Feb. Literally can't.

I understand that many say he should not have been hired in the first place. He's here and we need to focus on the football and picture a successful season come May. A lot has to happen in the meantime.

Forwards, Leon Clarke (Hamstring) Pitman (Lack of fitness) Rodman (Broken Foot) Z.Walker (Loan) K.Phillips (Loan) J.Barrett (Gone Away) leaves us only Saunders and Collins as forwards, where are the goals and success going to come from?.

Yes and there must be no excuses when on a bad run. The squad was assembled to cope with this. Clarke appears to be only a minor injury. I don't think JB got his no1 striking target. Collins needs a goal imo

We have a few forward players or those that can at least operate in the final third: Westbrook, Nicholson, Luke Thomas, Sion Spence, Langlais. What we don't have is a team or a game plan as it all seems a bit porridge. I don't think Joeybag has done any better that Garner in assembling a squad given the imbalance that's fairly obvious.

What about Harry Warwick and Ollie Hulbert? Are they still with us? Last I heard was September 2020 when they both went out on loan to Cardiff Metropolitan. Think they are slightly older than Kieran Phillips. I remember Warwick was fairly prolific at youth team level.

Harry Warwick is on loan with Chippenham, scored on the weekend, Think I heard Hulbert is out on loan, but not sure

My frustration is that we have have been taken to this position where it has become a game we don’t expect to win. Barton out

Yes Chelt’s, they could, but it’s far from where we should be after the reset and spend, I shuddered at the thought of Westbrook as a forward, Luke Thomas appears out of favour with Barton, would not be surprised if he up’s and away’s soon, Nicholson ok.

Westbrooke and Spence need to feature when we have injuries

Barton out They are a lot better than history suggests, a totally different team to ragbag Hartlepool from years ago. But I want, no, need Rovers to win games they're not supposed to win, it send a message that we are to be feared and not that we are a scalp to take because of the players we have.

Post Match Dave Challinor to give it some balance. We were unfortunate to lose. Same old story though Mango, if you keep losing then iOS it misfortune, really ? Have seen enough of it to know we were no threat and that we looked like a beaten side after their flakey goal but it really does balance it, the flukes i mean. We have had our fair share of lucky wins and especially under DC but winning becomes an habit, like many other things. How much more time do we give this man and his ageing team and incredible amount of player line ups ?
