The Glos Robin's,the club that offered us a temporary home just a few years ago.City and Swindon told us "no".
To my mind its something Gasheads ought not forget and a nod of respect to Town is in order.
I assume we'll not be playing our available strongest 11 tonight with the Stevenage game taking priority.
It almost has an extended preseason feel about it yo me.I mean,just how much do we really want to get through to the next round?Not as much as we want 3 points Saturday I strongly suspect.
I hope for players getting fitter and other team benefits game time gives.
A win would be jolly.
Come on Rovers!

Doubts appeared when Lennie Lawrence was asked why them Mem hadn't been demolished ready for the re build and we were told,'The players need somewhere to meet before matches?  ?? |

Andy William's on the Cheltenham bench.
That night we beat Saints 2 3 at St Mary's,with Rickie Lambert playing against us.
Andy William's came on for the last 20 minutes or so and I have never seen such a brilliant display from an on coming sub.
What a shot to win the game!

I thought it was for real, the idea they 1 div makes them “classier”. This would be a cup upset. if we were playing a side that’s finished in championship mid table the last few years, we could say they have attracted and paying a squad with some talents who measure up well to ours, but now we have been properly rebuilt I have every team team currently in L1 & L2 at their very best our equal, and winnable forus home and away. |
