Am I imagining things, or did Darlington once knock us out of the FA Cup as a non league side before? Around about 2010/11, we lost 1-2 (I think) at Darlington. I think they were in the Conference at the time.

I think Will Hoskins scored for us? I drove, which is the only reason I can remember it.

Alas not so, BBC iPlayer states UK only, not accessible from Taiwan. 3 letters VPN. Look it up but basically it allows you to appear to be in the country of your choice. There are many VPN downloads. Try one Yes, KP, will give it a try, thanks.

I think they were in the Conference at the time. I had forgotten about it until a City fan reminded me. Although it was just before I started going to games, I remember being shocked when Hayes knocked us out of the cup. I was at Kettering and Hitchin and although I am now mildly amused that I used to get upset about a game of football, both games really put me in a very black mood for a lot longer than they should have. Now being knocked out by a non league side is such a regular occurrence , I struggle to remember them all. Darlington are a staggering 13/2 to win today, that is well worth a punt!

Please, no Dutchman in goal for this global broadcast. It could be embarrassing enough as it is. I think it's about time we played our real first 11 in a Cup game.As far as PT II knows. Let's get through to the 'big boys' round!

From the main web-site: Tisdale opted to make two changes to the starting XI that faced Wigan in midweek, with Ben Liddle getting his first start for the Gas, and James Daly returning from a week-long break. Koiki and Upson drop to the bench in their place.
Rovers: Anssi Jaakkola (G), Luke Leahy, Max Ehmer (c), Jack Baldwin, Josh Hare, Ben Liddle, Josh Grant, Luke McCormick, Erhun Oztumer, Sam Nicholson, James Daly. Subs: Jordi van Stappershoef, Alfie Kilgour, Cian Harries, Ali Koiki, Ed Upson, Zain Westbrooke, Brandon Hanlan.
Darlington: Johnny Saltmer, Jordan Watson, Joe Wheatley, Nicholas Hunt, William Hatfield (c), Adam Campbell, Jarrett Rivers, Luke Charman, Anthony McMahon, David Atkinson, Sean Reid Subs: Melvyn Minter, Louis Lang, Ben Hedley, Dan Maguire, Theo Hudson, Omar Holness, Tyrone O'Neill

I think Liddle can play as a CB or a defensive midfielder. So maybe 4-3-3. Unless McCormick and Nicholson play as wingers in a 4-4-2 with Daley up top with the Turkish Mezze just in behind him... (unlikely).
