£16972 prize money if we dont mess up, and £8500 if we lose in the next round. So whose wages will that cover? its better than no extra income.

Oztumer has to start next league match without doubt. 1 why? 2 instead of whom? We all have our preferences for certain types of player. Harry always seems to have a penchant for the flashy lightweight short-arse luxury player who looks a million dollars on the ball and has standout moments but contributes little overall and can only operate effectively in about 5 yards of space. It's been a consistent theme. He thought John Oster was the best player in the Conference when we were down there......which he was until somebody actually marked him at which point he became next to useless. I suspect Oztumer is seen as the natural heir to this tradition although I think there might be a bit more to his game. I've certainly not seen anything much yet to suggest he should be demanding a first team place.

One of the drawbacks with Oztumer is the FIFA law that it's not an offence to kick him up in the air. At least that's the way the refs viewed it in the games against Shrewsbury, Peterborough and Walsall.

Bloke played about a hundred games for us and would have needed about 200 more before notching his 7th goal. Maybe someone explained to him that he had the rest of his life to reflect on the fact that he was wasting an opportunity that most of us would love to be given?

There’s a line in Garry nelson’s left foot forward “I may not have been good enough for top division, but if I played Sunday Morning football you would have noticed a difference” we’ve had a few examples, was it Forrester who scored for fun in the basement, but found it harder a division higher? And Walker too, remember his goals at Wembley, he had the touch to interest the scout, but lacked pace.

But what he needs though, is played in right way with right players. If Zano is out, Frodo is a direct replacement. They both appear decent from a dead ball. In fact when we get a wide free kick in opponents half these days I feel a tinge of expectation Zano is going to do something with it. Most of the decent balls in decent, at Shrews was a goal, but a couple of near things each game. to accommodate both Zano and Frodo, Frodo would be the more advanced. I’d like to see him in the hole behind both Hardon and Daly, feeding their runs.

Just watched the ''highlights'' it's not a good standard, even his great through ball was just whacked in a general direction, it was the control of the bloke receiving it that was impressive. No way would he have got at least 2 of those goals against L1 opposition.
