I'm a fan of Rovers winning football matches and being well run. Maybe my memory is playing tricks on me but you didnt seem much of a fan of coughlan or DC when they were winning plenty of matches. And off we go again with you writing complete rubbish about things I've said and when I've said them. As I've told you many times in the past, go find somebody else to start arguments with about things that never happened, I'm not interested.

You refer to the bad run using the past tense- it’s very much still a bad run. It hasn’t gone away and I suspect that it isn’t going away any time soon. Yesterday was just one of those random wins Garner gets against a side that rolled over for him. I’ll be surprised if we get another win before 10 league games are up. Also Garner has yet to win a game that hasn’t involved some sort of intervention by the ref either through a red or a penalty or both. Not a pretty stat and one that he will need to overcome ASAP. So all the trophies and matches ferguson won at man utd need to be looked at again but taking into account interventions by referees? The whole time i played and watched football i was always aware that penalties and red cards are part of the game. Its really strange to find a "football fan" not knowing that. I suspect you’re just being obtuse and know exactly the point I am trying to make so I shall not waste my time explaining it

Sounds like you were a massive coughlan fan so the bad run must have been hard on you. Also Garner has yet to win a game that hasn’t involved some sort of intervention by the ref either through a red or a penalty or both. Not a pretty stat and one that he will need to overcome ASAP. Absolutely, this! That's a very valid point that hasn't been highlighted before. KC berated the referee decision to issue the second yellow card and subsequent sending off..... hmmmm this is ringing bells from last week?! I totally agree BG is on a horrendous period of form. And it's important not to ignore that. Northampton won't win very many playing like they did. Two defensive players stood out (Bolger and Ratchet) for me, but a more capable team would have pushed on to us, pinned back the two Hanlan helpers and passed their way through us... Nevertheless, a good win though. Credit where it's due, BG picked Hare and Tut and that was a big input to our energy and outlet on the flanks with support spreading the forward play.

First chance yesterday that BG has selected eleven players from the start that never played for him last season.Gk and hare were out injured when he arrived.
A new Broom and all that!
Ps must admit not too impressed except for Westbrooke,Tutonda and McCormick. Just as well the Cobblers were shocking.

Haven't watched Loser Boy's post match ramblings, trust he gave plenty of credit to the fact that it's a bit of a drag down from Northampton, so they would have been tired, and the assistance from the referee?

For me a win was needed and we got it.

It's an opinion, and one to which you are entitled, but it's far from the majority opinion. So here's my challenge to you, for the second time, because you ignored it last time I asked; Find me a manager in the English top 4 divisions with a record as poor as Garner's after 20 competitive fixtures who hasn't lost his job.

I ignored it because it was a stupid question. I don't imagine there is a manager who started as badly as Garner still in a job. Losing football clubs sack managers often. But you're making my point for me, Sir.

I'm not apologising for comments made about the clown who destroyed everything that Coughlan had built, but I hope he's turned a corner. Doubt it somehow, but we live in hope.
I found the style of football under Coughlan tedious and it was switching off my emotions towards the game, but I certainly wouldn't have called him any names. Saying he is a clown and destroyed everything etc.....seriously?

Not 20 games, but the 8 before we dropped out of the football league; thankfully we stuck with DC and enjoyed some fantastic times.
I'm not suggesting BG will get it right, he deserves a run against mid-table opposition with his own team. He has had 4 games, 3 of the teams will probably be in the running. He should get a run of games with his own team, and then we can finally decide.

But he had 20 odd matches with his own team last season, and this calendar year, as the transfer window in January he brought in players of his own choice....like, Timmy Abraham....and continued to play them.

Clarke took over a losing team, Garner destroyed, yup destroyed in the blink of an eye, a winning team. Why does he ''Deserve'' more time? You may well feel that you would like him to be given even more time, but that's not the same as him deserving it.
