Sunderland to be the cry babies of L1? After the game, Black Cats manager Phil Parkinson slammed Ben Garner’s side, claiming they “just came to timewaste [sic]”, and his skipper has followed suit by taking a dig at the Gas.Obviously looking to make excuses for not being to beat such a poor side (in their eyes) and they have obviously forgotten the added 8 minutes. Unbelievable sour grapes from Sunderland. No class. Everyone gets far too excited on the first day of the season due to all the build up. It's the same in kids football, there is usually a row pf some sort. |

Watched these over the weekend, did have a laugh, 'they go doon like being shot' methinks is leveled at Mitchell-Lawson, who did have more than his fair share of horizontal turf-time. |

As compared to at least one dive in the penalty area by Sunderland!
Think they need to look at themselves for their gamesmanship first.

Absolutely loving this. Over 50 years the number of dirty northern b'stards who've screwed us over! At last we're getting streetwise. And obviously Parkinson has got to explain why his crap team couldn't beat us. That bloke's a bundle of laughs.

There's one that berated the ref for allowing us to fall over as if we've been shot, yet neglects to mention the controversy over Bailey Wright!

I don't like it. My kind of Rovers sides are respected by other clubs supporters for playing football the right way. I'd rather be cheated against than cheat. I thought that to 'lose pretty' was the whole point of replacing 'win ugly' Coughlan with Ben the Garner.

I used to enjoy my kids football team being hated by opposition, because they got in people's faces and made them argue with each other. Sunderland have shown petulance and a lack of class since Saturday. |
