That is the most grudging acceptance of a Rovers victory by a "fan" that I have just about ever seen. It’s true though but forgetting one big thing, a winning team will want to play as much as possible. It, like most othe things, becomes a habit. Winning is a great habit to have Of course. My point was that the original poster plainly wasn't best amused at Rovers winning.

4-3 FT very good for team morale not so good for players' energy on Saturday not dull That is the most grudging acceptance of a Rovers victory by a "fan" that I have just about ever seen. is see no 'acceptance' there. Just some comments, somewhat empty of emotion

I love this video for many reasons: great ball into the pocket by Harries; nice turn, create space, and shot by Collins; the goal itself; the celebrations; the crowd scenes ... but my favourite bit is when the camera pans up and into the crowd, zooms in on the middle of the Thatchers end, then in amongst all the flailing limbs, and crazy jumping about, is one individual, pretty much centre screen, seemingly oblivious to all going on around, stood stock-still and seemingly just intent on checking their phone! The fact that they are so still is like a reverse drawing attention to themselves. :-) ... Go full screen if you can. Hilarious... a rare Rovers moment, a moment to savor, a moment to go mental but he'd rather be texting a mate. Unbelievable. Unless it was one of you lot posting on here in which case... good on ya mate!

I think you 'thank you' is disingenuous, and intended to imply that you've won an argument that isn't there and, just as I sensed no acceptance above, I sense no perturbation either (and it is what 'empty of emotion' states) blinking flip, this is hard work

OK. Straightforward question. Do you want Bristol Rovers to win every game?

Multiple threads of this purity test? I think we can disagree, even dissent. I think the word Forum implies we must.

It's a shame we can't enjoy the dialectic.

Karl Robinson likes a moan but banging on about protecting Taylor from potentially being attacked at full time is a bit pointless. He’s played in front of our fans twice now and nobody has attacked or tried to attack him as far as I’m aware. He doesn’t seem very afraid of us when he’s cupping his ears. Just an attempt to create negative press when there really is none there

We’ll lose on Saturday of course.
It’s the Rovers’ way.

They really should be used to it... What a day that was. Gareth Taylor and Marcus Stewart at their best

would you like to be Brad Pitt, Jeff Bezos, Vladimir Putin, or Dr Faustus? What are you prattling on about now? Seems a straightforward enough question to me

What are you prattling on about now? Seems a straightforward enough question to me Cess Pitt more like in my case. No, happy being myself thank you and have a very contented life. The username is one I've had for 20 years. What about my straightforward question then? Do you want Bristol Rovers to win every game of football they play?

Just an attempt to create negative press when there really is none there Ah - I think after he was subbed in his pathetic first return to the Mem - he was (bizarrely) invited up to one of the boxes in the West Stand. I thought he was seen being chased behind the family terrace. (Someone will correct me if I'm wrong) Maybe they wanted his autograph. It's just a squiggle apparently.

What about my straightforward question then? Do you want Bristol Rovers to win every game of football they play? well, since you've been good enough to answer my ridiculous question, I'll answer yours. Though probably not in a fashion that you'll find acceptable... it depends! the short-term goals are to get enough points to ensure safety, but also exit the manager winning every game is a flight of fancy. I don't usually wish on those. But how to navigate the tricky path between the above goals? last season he had to do well enough to avoid relegation, but badly enough to get sacked. He managed only one of the two. Well, he did and he didn't this season he has to do well enough to avoid relegation, but badly enough to get sacked. As other threads have already suggested, the jury's still out
