Again more inciteful journalism with an article about how Matt Taylor ACCUSES some Rovers fans of crossing the line with their chanting.
1. He is right 2. He reiterated it's a minority 3. The headline is more that he is in the wrong than the people chanting about him being dead 4. It's irresponsible when we face them again in the next couple of weeks at home. 5. He also said he respects most fans and enjoyed his time here.

The test is, would you say it to his face, 121? The answer here is no, despite what you may claim. Sticks and stones, and all that... The real nastiness is the elbowing of Kilgore, that can cause real damage....but it gets brushed over because poor someone bemoans the fact that some unkind words were sung and it hurt his poor feelings. Pathetic. Many many workplaces endure harsher conditions than 90mins of baiting. Many schools do too. Bullying is rife on some building sites, factory places and even in Houses of Parliament. I'm not condoning it, I'm just pointing out in my opinion he gets everything he deserves, because he 100 % brought it on himself and sympathy runs at zero... And therefore it would have been better and more responsible journalism to diminish the chanting rather than draw more attention to it and him. It now adds further to the vitriol. He doesn't deserve to be chanted to like that, Zebroski did, but again, imagine if his mum was at that game hearing that. The article is provocative at best and stirring trouble for Taylor at worst.

In the replay I hope Mathew Taylor gets loads of stick and Alfie Mark's him again.Alfie seems to get under his skin and a combination of his close attention and critique from Gasheads might see him struggle.

Who can forget the stick Taylor got on his return to the Mem and he went down with an injury (real or not) and was subbed?
Our reward for winning the replay is a home tie against Sutton, better home than away.

Nope. Like some here can let it go their feelings regarding JAB let go!? Snake has gone and is professionally dead to me apart from when in opposition team - and then it's fair game, whether his poor mumsie is there or not. On a more deeper level, football sectarianism can be (to me) an important part of the live match day experience, which sometimes includes the pantomime villain from time to time. What's the first score you look for after Gas match (mine isn't Oxford)?

Currently, Port Vale, Rangers, Rochdale in that order. Edit: Barton out.

There's a massive difference between Barton currently staining the reputation of our club and an ex player who gave his all for us and went on to bigger and better things playing in the Championship. First score I look for after Rovers, Exeter City's for family reasons.

Convicted is just a means proof has been established in a court of law, there are many thugs that haven't. Yes he went elsewhere, that is the issue as much as how he chose to do it. Bodin played the same match and technically exercised the same options, but we all understand why the set of circumstances are different. Well done you for posting the set of teams that avoid the elephant in the room, but I think we both get the point.....?

Elephant in the room? If you're referring to Bristol City, it makes me laugh if they lose, but given they're light years ahead of us, their result is of little interest to me.
That's me done on this one. Some like to pretend to be "tough" in groups. I'll leave you to them o2.

I'd happily tell Matt Taylor to his face that he brought this on himself, and that actions have consequences.
I don't bear him any ill will away from a football pitch, but on the field, he deserves all the stick he gets in my opinion.

Mathew Taylor won't like Alfie "up his ass" - local football parlance - and that's a string to our bow we should use.
Taylor 'don't like it up him'!

I think all this Matthew Taylor stuff is nonsense if I was to be honest and a sad indigtment of the intelligence of a fair few who follow the game. Most people in whatever line of work that they carry out would make a move to a competitive company if the package offered was far in advance of the one that they were currently on and if they did would they expect abuse and people hanging around their house at all hours of the night from their previous employer ? I think not, it's all pretty pathetic if you ask me.

It is pathetic. Correct.
Unfortunately as clinical as advancing one's career it might actually be, we all know football culture evokes unique emotional responses. Sometimes pathetic bordering on worse. Football more important than life and death, anyone?
I akin it more to an Islamic imman switching jobs to becoming a Catholic Priest because of more money, on the eve of Ramadan then scoffing his face in front of everyone when the sun is up and laughing about it with his new Pope....

The anger directed at this individual is perfectly understandable. It is not pathetic. Taylor was perfectly within his rights to move to BCFC1982. I have no no problem with that at all. To move at 11pm on transfer dead-line day scuppered a very rare chance for Rovers to have a shot at promotion to the championship. He basically stuck his middle finger up at Gasheads who had cheered him on and supported him. "We" helped make him the player he now is. I'm glad he got stick on his return to the Mem. Best atmosphere there for a few years. He feigned injury, got booked, swung an elbow at one of our players and fell over the ball in front of the Blackthorn terrace - limping off shortly afterwards. He can f*ck right off. Despicable individual. I won't "let it go".
And rest.
