See what Wael and Barton between them have done to our club, a 2-2 draw at a club from a higher division, and one that we've traditionally had a bit of a rivalry with, and although the thread started a day early, it's still not filled 2 pages. Punchy out. I think it was 790 that travelled to Ox TWD. Not bad for a Sunday dinner time ko, 1st round FA Cup game. Think I heard them chant "JOE BARTONS BLUE& WHITE ARMY" |

Just seen that Billy Bodin is only making the bench at Oxford. If only the chance to sign him had been there... Barton out. He's only played twice this season, so maybe Tisdale made the right call? Great to hear him get a good reception from the Gasheads when he came on. |

One thing I will say is this team and match squad, dishevelled and dysfunctional because of injuries and illnesses, just doesn't give up! It doesn't know when it's beat!!
The spirit at some away matches is of something reminiscent of what it's like to be a GasHead..... strength in adversity.
We had no right getting a result (bearing in mind how many times our bar and post has been assaulted), yet we get a draw out of nothing....much in part because of the right substitution at the right time....and credit to JAB and players for grinding out a very decent result.
Credit to everyone whom travelled....I heard you singing at the end and we'll done for another excellent support.
A good day to be a GasHead.....all without recognised strikers!

Anthony Evans is proving to be a great asset to the team. I would imagine he is being watched already. Always liked the look of him and Luke I forget his name, who doesn’t get much gametime. Bot seem very talented players
Luke Thomas, got there in the end, think he is a player with high potential

They really have a will to win and their enthusiasm, post scoring, is a joy to see. I would dearly love to see Luke Thomas being given a decent run as i see something a but special about him. He has great ball skills and loves the banter, he can give it back too |

Apparently he was injured, but will be back next week, which may equate to Barnsley not wanting him to be cup tied. From his recent performances, it does seem as though JB handled Luke's mental health well, as he seems full of confidence now. |
