Won their last home game and generally don't concede many there. Drew home to Barrow. And drew 0-0 at Rodney Trotter Parade last week.
3-0 home win

We had the very good win at Walsall so I'll go 0 1 to Rovers.

Can't see us getting much from this fixture, a draw would be good but I suspect a pretty comforatable win for The Bantams.

I would be happy with a minimum of 2 points from the two away games.

barton the football manager is in a weak place right now, he offered to walk and lowered supporter expectations saying he would take 3 wins from next 10 - unless he gets better than expected results in coming games, there will be little argument he is a proven failure here.
Bradford away. Colchester away Newport home Harrogate away (my prediction for Joey’s last team sheet)

I would be happy with a minimum of 2 points from the two away games. and then a win home to Newport or away at Harrogate Tea Rooms? You still back him if it’s no wins in the next 4?

We have played Bradford City 28 times, Winning 15, Losing 5 and 8 Draws, We have won 7-1, 4-0, 4-1 & 4-3, We have lost 4-1, 3-1, 2-1 & 2-0 twice.
The last time we won at Valley Parade was a 5 goal thriller in 1995 winning 2-3.
Manager Derek Adams played virtually his whole career in Scotland, he has managed in nearly 600 games with a 42% win ratio.
Bruce Bannister played over 200 games for both Bradford and BRFC.
Ex Bradford striker Dean Windass scored a wonder goal his 201st once upon a time at Wembley for Hull resulting in promotion to the premier league.

Happy if we even score a goal today. Bradford at home is a tough one.
Great city, great fans and a well run football club. Same as us really.
OK, two out of three ain't bad as the crap song goes.

These next 4 games are crucial to Barton's survival.
He has to be looking for 3 unbeaten and 5 points minimum

These next 4 games are crucial to Barton's survival. He has to be looking for 3 unbeaten and 5 points minimum That’s the spirit. The point being though, if the slide to the bottom last season wasn’t so bad (did he really get away with blaming players and previous managers for such gutless surrender of league status?) and the start to season so bad, not just results but performances so unconvincing can’t even see it turning round (his squad now, same manager, same lame football) then the next four wouldn’t be so crucial would they? in a way not much is expected, 5 points from 12 in basement and applauding manager off the pitch? The results AND performances in coming weeks have to be placed in bigger perspective. we have had owners here who have put money in, lost sleep, made many good calls, yet still not fondly remembered as a legacy. Wael is on for the worst legacy of all, hiring and tying himself to this guy, and shredding credibility easily lost but not easily regained.

We have two very proactive forwards and a highly rated wing back returning to the first 11. I am hoping they can make an impact today. I think he will be in trouble if we win none and lose at least 2 of the next 4

Careful what we wish for? I honestly believe a more experienced coach can come in with fresh voice, fresh start, and tactics and galvanise us into a better second half of the season. the not being able to work with and improve in anyway what you inherit is an odd selling point on a managers CV. You have to then wonder what if, having a longer look at a player he brought in himself, or on the basis of personality fell out with, he can’t work with them either?

Bradford unbeaten at home and always play a settled back line. Some of their fans are frustrated by a relative lack of chances (they still create far more than us); and are concerned that Cook can get isolated up top.
Good to see that we're starting again with a back 4, albeit with 2 enforced changes.
Getting anything out of this will be a bonus. I expect 2 or 3 nil to Bradford.

Pretty much same team and set up? 4 at back. No start for Thomas.

One city, two cultures. I've always thought Citys season ticket policy as fantastic and i'm sure that policy and the club in general, play a part in integrating the city. I hope Park Avenue can one make it back to the EFL too.
