Just sack him now then. He is running out of excuses for me, believe me. But if he can get a couple consistent results and performances together then who knows. I really think Wael has to wait longer than he did with Garner and the court cases are the elephant in the room. If we lose tomorrow he may go for football reasons but would earn a pay off. He may get the luck he needs with players coming back from injury, put a few results together. Some games are too much for this squad atm, Swindon and Orient being classic examples. What if we didn't beat Crawley and Walsall etc. Damned if he do/don't. Which is why tomorrow is so important. Let's have some balance. Did you go to Walsall? Last 9 games 4 wins 1 draw 4 defeats Or 6 defeats out of 10 with only 3 wins if you want accurate league seasonal figures conceding more goals than every team other than the bottom club where they match us. Don't include his last seasons results or you would drive him back up the M6 yourself. Exactly, depends how you look at it. 5 unbeaten from the last 9

Last 9 games 4 wins 1 draw 4 defeats How fantastic a performance was it at Walsall? There were odd days last season, like looking so good against Donny and Pompey. Was the Walsall win as convincing as those? From radio commentary it sounded a bit even, till the closing stages after our first goal sparked us and flattened them, especially as they had that one on one that would have sealed it? but it’s the overall picture isn’t it. What you called the norm. If anyone says it’s a results business and Joey should have gone by now on basis its results business, I disagree, this is not simply what I would do as Chairman. If you are playing well and not getting the results it can feel like it will turn. That has to be part of the sack or more time equation as well IMO. We are not playing well, that’s surely a clear trend we all can agree? and that is the deciding factor. Now the manager himself sounding bit broken and clueless in interviews. Another deciding factor. It is a lack of fire power which is letting us down again this season – factoring in this is the basement, we’ve looked even more toothless than with Hanlon, Ayunga and Westbrook as the make it happen section last season! That’s another deciding factor. How many more deciding factors do we need? Listen to Cian He is saying the right things and i disagree that Nick and Yosser have done well. The Walsall game was nervy because we had the millstone of no away wins around us. The momentum of that win meant we went 1-0 up v swindon, but they were too good. Tomorrow is such an important game. To answer your question. Walsall was such an improvement and a day i won't forget

WHAT? scraping by against the divisions crap sides and played off the park by sides at other end of table is IS THE NORM! That’s the clear pattern. Are you denying reality now? Is that all Barton luvvers have left “well you say that’s an obvious pattern, but I chose to believe otherwise.” He has to go now regardless of result this weekend. He should have gone after last weeks watershed moment. The die has been cast by Barton himself, in his pre match comments about helping Garner be a proper football manager when we havn’t put in a performance for more than ten games. Last 9 games 4 wins 1 draw 4 defeats This is like poking about in a dung heap looking for sixpences. When he breezed in he was talking about this season being a promotion challenge from the 3rd division. Meanwhile, back on Earth from Planet Bullsh1t, we just had to not get any worse to stay in a division we’d been quite comfortable in. Now folk are scouring the 4th division for a team we might not lose to. If we, for reasons that are not apparent, click out of this ‘bad patch’ (ever since he arrived) and ‘it’ all turns out alright after all, what’s ‘it’? What merit or promise does keeping this chancer hold? Plus, the club should never have associated itself with this character in the first place, but that’s a given.

You may well be right but you can't pick your football manager, like your daughter's boyfriend..

He's on the verge of either going over the edge or exploding, I'm not sure which.

I like what he has to say.A call to get together is very much needed.I'm sick of the anti Barton stuff because it is destructive to the club. WAQ is backing Joe,a manager that appears to want to stay and get us to the 2nd tier.In the scenario our results do improve as Joe suggests and however slowly, then we might begin a new and successful era. WAQ is backing JB and assuming we want to beat Carlisle United,I hope the we can get behind JB and Rovers tomorrow.

He is trying to say the right things but he mentions City in a Rovers presser and asks the fans to be careful what we wish for. Not great and I am still hoping he will succeed atm. I want more than 4 wins in the next 10. I'm sure he does. I thought Cian spoke well today.

I think that this is the most bizarre football interview that I have heard. He has gone from promotion to a more modest target of 4 wins in next 10 games. Everest, K2, A*s, Geoff Bradford, Steve Lansdown and his billions, contemplation in Church, dying before his kids grow up, societal impatience, working free for a charity i.e. us, our fanbase's inability to recognise success, his mental resilience are ALL covered in 14 minutes! I am going tomorrow. I "pray we win", as this is now amounting to a soap opera where Bobby (Dallas) appears in the shower, after being killed off. In short you couldn't make it up...and the court cases start next month.

Did I just hear Barton in his Carlisle interview say that he went to church on Wednesday, spent an hour and realised that he has been sent here to join us?.

Did he also say he's not being paid. He said he was doing it for charity.

Did he also say he's not being paid. Yes he did, it came across that we are a form of self inflicted community service.
