Haha! ....that didn't happen! Did it not? We’re really sorry to announce that, due to unexpected licensing issues, our upcoming show at the Memorial Stadium, Bristol has to be postponed. Anyone who has tickets will be entitled to a refund at this stage. We’ll hopefully reschedule this show as part of our 2022 tour. For those close, we playing Sophia Gardens, Cardiff the following day!! Such a disappointment about Bristol but we’ll be back!

We have to win by 4 goals to go above Swindle today such is our goal difference. Pitman hat-trick anyone?

I thought Ben Garner gave a very intelligent, measured pre match interview covering his time at Rovers and what he’s doing at Swindon. Results were very poor and that’s what any manager is judged on, but he certainly carries a lot more dignity than his counterpart today

Usual players and personnel roles from Joey. Still only 3 defenders, and plenty on pitch for heavy conditions with match fit question marks.

The performance appears to have gone ahead at multiple other locations, so it doesn't seem to be a copyright or performer related issue. Says it all really, 1982 have a packed stadium for Muse and there are only a handful of expensive hospitality tickets left for Sir Elton, we can't even organise a group of pub singers doing a Freddie Mercury tribute.

Carlisle getting stuffed at home, where does 3 wins on trot leave us??? 😀 Still with zero dignity and our reputation in the gutter. 103 wins wouldn't change a thing.

Swindon’s thin and inferior squad can’t compete with the depth and experience of our squad. Halfway through 3 game winning run, now we are playing better, on a roll, this is how it’s likely to be every week now, opponents thin and inferior squads unable to compete with a rovers side now on a roll.

Swindon plenty of possession and chances created, but as yet no finishes. Belshaw made a couple of good saves.
Rovers score a good goal.
Interesting 2nd half coming up.

Duke, you strike me as someone struggling to divorce the antics of one man, the manager, from everyone else at the club, all the players etc, striving to achieve wins and bounce back promotion. All the best managers hardly angels, Duke, would you be any happier with mind games, hairdryer, boot in becks face Ferguson here? I wouldn’t. it’s like you are out there marching with Bertrand Russell and the Women of Greenham Common to give up weapons of mass destruction, when you need to learn to love the bomb.

WAQ matches the amount collected from the charity match at Mangotsfield.
I think that means - not certain - a total of about £64,000.

Yes Emporer,I'm not surprised either.🙂We've seen a BG team. Also I heard Swindon were concerned about not scoring enough with all their possession. They have created changes though and Belshaw has made a couple of saves. Achtung Rovers!

I'll have moment for Jimmy Greaves and Roger Hunt. Hey, What a deadly duo up front, stats work out like this - played 1339 & 831 goals = 0.62 goal ratio. With Ray Clemence (1003) & Gordon Banks (755) sharing the goalkeeping with 1758 games between them. The saving of goals and the scoring duties taken care of, what a team.
