From the highlights alone, 4-1 would have been a fair result.

I had to laugh after JCH scored the Penalty, he ran over to a photographers open lap top and pretended to be an angry poster! (my guess!) perhaps a message to us internet warriors?......ha ha, well done JCH.

Well deserved win. Hargreaves was my MOTM, but everyone put a shift in from back to front. Was nice to see some pace and bite which has been lacking
Credit to BG as well. Formation was interesting, but it worked last night and everyone seemed to know what they were doing
Shows what could have been with a bit more energy in some of the other games. I hope it isnt/wasnt a case of getting up for Sunderland only to revert to 'normal'
More of last please

Great team performance tonight full of aggression and passion which brought a much deserved win. No point in getting carried away but tonight was special and the atmosphere was cracking. my eyes told me there were quite a few Sunderland fans packing terrace and tent. My ears called my eyes liars. quite a big game for them looking at table now. Their players reaction at end was like they’ve been beaten in a cup final. I went with 2 non Rovers fans who had never been here before and asked to come to sample it. I was not hopeful and we were sat right next to SAFC fans, one mad bloke singing at us about the gazebo 'did you put this up last night' he has a point with their stadium, but at least i have my teeth.. My mates are Palace and Man U fans and are now converted

Formation seemed to be 3 4 3 when going forward, then 5 4 1 when defending. High energy of JML and Hargreaves was great to see. Never let Sunderland relax. Rodman had best game in a while. Excellent team performance.
While Sunderland may be considered poor, that was down to our energy and tactics, plus their need to spend too much time conning the ref. The latter they were very good at.
Can we do it again Sat? Will there be a return of supporters?

er....would I be a bit of a party pooper if I suggested it was a bit of a Coughlanesque performance - not pretty, but with decent structure and full of battle?

So after 2.5 months of rubbish we’ve gone back to doing what we were good at when we were 4th? Man, that’s bittersweet to read... Team pits in a shift and now some are saying it's back to previous manager style. What a load of tosh! More tactics out there last night plus the infectious running of JML and Hargreaves meant playing levels lifted. Want to talk about the first half against Southend at home or those cup draws to say we always had endeavor in all games under GC?

Under coughlan we never had 2 and sometimes 3 players chasing down defenders high up the pitch. So although the defending and the formation was similar to the previous manager it was not the same imo.

A famous great football legend once said 'it's a funny old game'...how the hell can we lose against that pile on the weekend and then beat Sunderland tonight. Answer: passion, commitment, tenacity, guile and good old work-rate, bring on the Tractor Boys. 1200 fans made the very long trip down tonight, big up to them. U.T.G Always give a different number than the tickets sold. Ticket office said they had 1500
