Remember that frustrating nil-nil draw against Notts County last October?
Only three Notts players that started that night (Hewitt, Thompson and Stead) were still in the line-up for their game against Daggers last Tuesday.
The Notts player that many people rated (Aborah) has fallen out with the new manager, and wasn't in the squad. Neither was Edwards.
Six players that featured at the Memorial Stadium were on the bench at Meadow Lane: Carroll, Audel, Sheehan, Noble, Smith and McLeod.

Here's the Rovers' team in October, there's bound to be some tinkering and there are at least 4 changes to the starting XI:
Nicholls; Leadbitter, Lockyer, McChrystal (C), Brown; Gosling, Mansell, Sinclair, Bodin (Montano - 70); Taylor (Blissett - 70), Harrison (Easter - 46).
Unused Substitutes: Mildenhall (GK), Parkes, O. Clarke, Lines.
Their manager may have brought in 8 better players, I do not know their squad.

Gaffney out Easter in, only change. Though Ryan Broom comes onto the bench.

Liam Lawrence off injured 1st min replaced by Montano. Easter misses an easy chance.

County haven't won at home for the best part of 3 months. We all know the drill. ?

Lawrence played really well on Tuesday. On the left he and Brown were key in all our moves. I have been a critic of Lawrence, but on the basis of Tuesday and the position he was played in, I felt perhaps we were starting to see what DC wanted from him. If it is a hamstring, then he, plus Gaffney, Sinclair, and possibly Harrison will be out for a while. We have to look at loans now.

I always thought he was going to do "the Monkhouse" and cut inside to leave the left flank open for Brown, but I wasn't too impressed with last match... even if he did perform above his last exhibitions. And yes, it's time for a loan.

Unless Gosling gets recalled? Or was that only a month loan, in which case we couldn't recall him.

First half was a thousand times better than last week at Wycombe. We're competing for the ball much more although giving them a bit too much freedom down the left for some dangerous crosses to come in. Fortunately both times the ball went straight across the goal missing everyone.
Ref seems OK so far and even giving us some free kicks.
Supporters could be a bit more vocal although not necessary helped by being spread our across one side of the pitch.
