Is it on ifollow apart from audio? Saturday fixtures 3pm no longer permitted. £10 saved. Is there any explanation as to why mangogas15 ? What if the KO was at a different time ? |

Lost the will to live!!!! Called in at a discount store early today to buy some bottled water but no-one was on the till. Deciding not to give up I waited patiently and eventually a young man who had been stacking shelves came to see me. 'How can we help you today?' Have we ever come into a season with all the previews praising our close season signings, pundits and bookies placing us in automatic promotion?
And the opening fixtures have fallen kindly, 5 of first 7 tipped to be in around relegation. Would disappoint to get nothing at both Mansfield and Exeter, all depends on management decisions.
I’m typing this fully expecting 3 centre backs instead of back 4.
In immortal words of 3 lions: they just know England’s going to throw it away - as indeed Southgate did, switching to three centre backs becomes, in the modern game of press, 5 4 1 it’s hard to transition out of. In the modern game of press, where’s there’s even thing as Defensive Forwards whose main duty is to press, you have to match up in midfield or else you don’t hold it long enough there to transition.
The equivalent today to Dirty Southgate’s mistake would be coming back from a narrow loss at Mansfield feeling we never really gave it a proper go, set up to spend too long in defensive shape without ball. Barton can get away with three centre-backs and just such feeling afterwards today, but in the coming games, when you want to say we are at least as good as you are, our attacking shape and attacking intent should reflect that.

James Daly will score today (3/1).
Ali Koiki will have a good season at Northampton.
Rovers line up interesting. I think it’s a 5-4-1 formation

Update. BBC says 4-2-3-1.
definitely back 4 then. I feel very positive about this season knowing we are starting back 4.
