4-2 get the f*ck in Nicholson Mango and me have been lauding Nicholson all season. Mango, I would have spotted you the tenner... 😜 I boycotted the game. Glad to miss a win, rather than watch a defeat. Nice to have more than one class creative player, pleased for PT, Nic and Hanlan. Great win

It's not so much a party as Wombles opened their new ground up before our match. They beat Peterborough midweek at home at the New Plough Lane. Did anyone go to the old Plough Lane? Not sure about spoiling parties....I was at that fateful game in '93 where magic Mikey Davis wove his magic. ...then the fun began 🙄. I remember we spolied WBA staying up party once at Twerton last game of season!?? large amount of baggies fans turned up wearing togas i believe That was a match and a half. We saw them relegated and they made us have no choice but to defend ourselves. One I will never forget. Old times but good times, regardless of how others judge

Well that was a massive improvement.
Only 1 game and we still look disorganised at the back but there was a proper pattern of play and a confidence and dynamism in moving the ball that's been missing all season.

In other news. Millwall fans waited 9 months to watch their team play football and the first thing they do is boo the players for taking the knee. Good old Millwall, always rely on them for some Saturday afternoon racism. Former Coventry and Aston Villa striker Dion Dublin, who had a loan spell at Millwall in 2002, added: "They don't agree with taking the knee, which means they are racist. They don't agree with Black Lives Matter; that says they are racist to me. is it showing they are rascist or just not approving of the players actions?

Woof woof..... what a performance!?
Totally unexpected. Although, there were small signs this was coming v Gills.
Defence apart, we played some very easy on the eye stuff.
Ehmer a revelation on the right. Alfie looked more comfortable. Grant and impressive Upson done the hard work. Leahy actually brilliant in offence, decent in defence. Nicholson looking like the new Bodin+ with extra whistles and bells. Hanlan devastating.
But.... for me, the catalyst, the blinding midfield performance of the season, Oz. M O M and his vision and creativity could prove the difference between staying in this league or not.
We played some great passing and movement possession based football, well done PT and management team for orchestrating a brilliant performance away from home that all things being normal many of us would have attended..
Excellent. Top marks. Sort the defence out, we will be a force to be reckoned with..

Good old Millwall, always rely on them for some Saturday afternoon racism. I disagree. It's not racist to boo. It's freedom of speech. It's not automatically racist to disagree with the proposition. How else would someone vocally register their disapproval of a politically motivated gesture?

Fantastic game of football. Took me by surprise. I didn't like the set up. But energy and positive play all over the pitch. Well done Mr Tisdale. UTG!

Promotion or play offs a distinct possibility now.
Beat Argyle and Orient and Tisdale manager of the month.
Hanlan being sold in January to City for £2m.
Let's get behind Wael and thank him for his financial support.

Not everything works for him, but he's always positive and looking to do something. Brilliant performance all round. We won't go down playing like that, I can assure you. UTFG!

It comes across as racist. Doesn't matter if it is meant differently. Let's face it, it wasn't.

I would prefer a separate thread on Millwall and issues around 'taking the knee', if that's OK. It will be moderated, and all measured and polite views are welcome. This thread is about a fantastic performance from Bristol Rovers FC. Up The Gas.

I know people will say good goals from us, but the goalie could have done better, especially hardons second hit straight at him. At times we didn’t move the ball quickly enough to justify possession dominance, wombles press on us was non existent. So was it wombles off day or were we good? 4 points and two good performances from next 2 would go some way to answering that.
