Interesting fixture, for me anyway. I first got 'back' into football post Italia-90. 15th September 1990. I thought Hull played in a stripey tiger kit. However on checking, 1992-95 was the tiger kit. www.historicalkits.co.uk/Hull_City/Hull_City.htmThis was the game that kick-started 30 years of following the ups (and downs) of Bristol Rovers FC. Back then it was all-ticket and no POTD. Which probably helped explain the attendance of just 4,734. The game finished 1-1. I'll settle for that this evening. UTG. |

They've only won or lost this season, no draws. Shame they lost on Saturday. I'm going for their first draw 1-1.

You'd like to think that having Saturday cancelled will give us an advantage in this game because we've had a proper whole week off whereas they have played Saturday-Tuesday-Saturday-Tuesday. I assume they have one of the larger squads in the league which would mitigate that a bit but it's still probably quite a good moment to play them.

Cold night game under floodlights against a 'big' side, team improving, decent crowd, alright crappy pasties, but I'd live with that.
Live streaming with dodgy commentary and no crowd doesn't cut the mustard, but I am still looking forward to it.

A tad expensive Simon- they are idenital in every way to those made in the bakers on Cotham Hill- so maybe same supplier- not a huge pastie or cider fan actually- but enjoy both on a home game- hope to experience again in the next year or two..
