Not your flare was it??... Thrown from the home end- what a weird thing to do when you have a plastic pitch! Nuts. 1-0 on your big day out

Yeah, the BT commentator and Virgo sounded as though they got the rundown on Nichols from GC himself. Virgo had a little dig at Rovers' fans "who can be like that, as I well know". The fact is, our fans have shown Nichols more than enough patience over the years he's been with us but have now seen through the "runs his socks off" nonsense because they know it takes more than that to be a good striker, and he hasn't got it because nothing ever comes of it - apart from gurt spuds in his socks that is. The commentator apologised a couple of times for the swearing from the crowd behind him. Anyone know if there were Rovers' fans sitting there because when Nichols was subbed at the same time as a Bromley player, a loud voice screamed "get off, you're a pile of s***e. you're just dogs***e". Virgo was out of order. Rovers fans know their football. I used to stand on the West terrace but now can’t stand in one spot for the entire game. I did go in the east terrace and heard the really awful abuse our manager and his assistant got and I can only say that most of them seemed to have more interest in telling DC what to do that anything else. It was nasty stuff.

Back to TC's performance, was thinking he is a good player as can be seen by some of his play. But unlucky to be seen as Taylors replacement.. Was expected to hit the ground running which didn't happen. The resulting barrage of criticism (some of it very nasty) seems to have obliterated his confidence completely. He wont recover in a Rovers shirt.
Shame but his best bet is to move on where I think will do well in the future.
