Dire.
No pace or urgency, 100% predictable. Get the ball, run around in little circles, knock it wide, have a little think about it, make sure the opposition have got themselves properly organised then knock it sideways a couple more times, then maybe, just maybe, think about going forwards.
41 minutes in a home game before an attempt of any kind on the opposition goal.
Clarke needs to sort things out very quickly or this is going to turn into a season of real struggle.
Hope now that even the happy clappers realise that there's a big gap between pub teams like Dover and proper League teams.

We looked lackluster to say the least. Was lucky as it could've been worse.....def pen to them went unnoticed and a clean through chance at end their bloke messed up on.
Why do we insist on pumping up long balls to our short attackers when we are meant to play with width which wasn't exploited?
If we are gonna play hoof ball then at least bang in a few tall blokes up front..
So many of our players looked not up for it. No tempo, no structure, no clue. We got what we deserved folks..
Alot of work to do. Priorities are width, pace, creativity.

felt like i have just watched the same game twice in a row,, not sure what Easter brings to this strike force if there is one, but in dire need of someone with a real creativeness and the players with the ability to read that players intentions, Not sure if Stanley deserved their 3 points as a result of their style of play but Rovers got what they deserved,Ref was something of a puzzler as he fell into the stanley trap of drawing fouls and timewasting and his assistant on the sunnyside missed a Stanley pen in the first half for holding and a blatant shove on Sinclair right in front of him about 10 yards from the goal line just out of the box,, dissappointing day overall.... thank god for Birmingham city

Pretty poor today is an understatement. Bored stiff.
I like DC a lot, but we have to have players 'in' their position. Sinclair played mostly on the right wing and got man of the match, but not for beating his full back and getting into the box, but because he did what he does best - tackling back and working hard. We need full backs or wingers that can beat a player and stretch teams.
We are slow, predictable, and easy to play against. Need leads back ASAP!

We have all witnessed many inept performances in the past but that for me, was the crowning turd in the toilet pan -hopeless, no shape, no midfield and as for the attack, less said the better...

Have scored in 1 out of 4 home League games. Not a crisis yet, but a couple more performances like today and the pressure will start to build.

DC's chief apologist very quiet tonight. Wardy would've been hung from a Gloucester Rd lamppost had he served up today's shower of s**te.

Starting with no wingers, for me, is as barmy as doing a Chelsea and starting with no strikers! Crazy.
Four central midfielders starting today that are more or less identical to eachother. Frustrating that DC didn't start with our strongest possible side in the trusted 3-5-2 & get at them. Give Accy something to think about coming to our place, not adjusting to whatever they are going to bring.
Bored stiff pretty much sums it up today, but onto Plymouth we go! A nice tough away game to correct things.

Sinclair was a roaming midfielder all first half .... little did it produce though .... absolutely nobody wide right so we went down the left all the time. At least when Sinclair was switched to the right second half did we get in to some promising positions unfortunately a killer pass or cross never came ..... mind you our forwards don't look like they can sniff out the right position to be in either.

When we were relegated we lost all 6 points to Accy. We were mugged at home. A single point from them and we would have stayed up. Very nervous about this one, it still bugs me. It was exactly as I feared. It was horrible. We aren't streetwise enough

Speaking as a DC apologist, yes it was boring. But, they don't become a bad team or bad players overnight, it was just a bad day at the office, it happens ! put it behind you and move on. The only thing it exposed for me is that there are a number of players who have to play to their maximum potential to cut it at this level, if they fall short then we are there for the taking. Accrington were better ON THE Day but wouldn't be on another, this time they were quicker, sharper and made decision whether they were right or wrong, whereas we were slow indecisive and just not at the races.
Spare a thought for the poor Buggers who had to pick man of the match !

I'll defend DC - he isn't being allowed to sign who he wants - ask the BOD
