When we were relegated we lost all 6 points to Accy. We were mugged at home.
A single point from them and we would have stayed up.
Very nervous about this one, it still bugs me.

I'm expecting a "bread-and-butter" game, against a decent, focused Accrington team. So we'll learn a lot today - hoping we don't have to play the ref as well as the opposition. |

They discover good players/managers on a fraction of our resources. I've been there a couple of times and it's a welcoming place, cheap as chips and a good community feel to it bearing in mind it's geography. Having said that, if we are to show any form of progress I will be looking at us to more than compete with them. I'm expecting a more open game, and a tough challenge, but if we want to do anything of significance this season, these are he games we should be relishing and winning before two more (on paper)difficult propositions. Parking could be 'Madness' today.
The gates for the concert don't open until 4pm, but there might be fewer spaces for those that leave their cars around Ashley Down Road, with people arriving early and going to the pub first. After the game there could be more traffic as people arrive for the main bands.

if i wanted to get into the club shop today would i need to pay to get into that area or would the stewards let me get to it ,as i was looking to get in the opposite side to meet up with some peeps?

Get to the ground early, 10 minutes before the gates open, and they'll let you through to the club shop. I think the turnstiles open there at 1.30pm. |
