you simply make the same post over and over again,,,i think promotion out of the conference which has many full time teams a massive achievement,,,,you clearly dont so you change the wording a little and make the same post over and over Now I know you are just on a wind up. Massive achievement getting out of the 5th division, yeah right. You are exactly the sort of apologist that gives the BoD the licence they need to continue. ,,,dc had some difficult issues last season,,,he had a steady defence but also a defence that took up much of his budget and he had to give brunt a chance despite obvious doubts,,,he made several top signings sinclair mansell monkhouse taylor and trotman,,,and some inspired loans cunnington della verde dawson and lines and produced the goods and delivered promotion...... looking at some of barnets signings and squad i seriously doubt there budget was any worse than ours,,maybe take a look? your obvious grudge against the board infects your every post,,,,apart from a funeral of a person i didnt know what is your grudge? theres something there isnt there?

Bamber has just lost all his credibility as a genuine poster with his comments about DC. Maybe he should just stick to threads on the stadium & sainsburys. Ain't it a bitch when someone you disagree with is proven correct What have I said that isn't a matter of record? The bloke took over with us above the relegation zone, after the Torquay farce I said that he was going to take us down. 6 weeks later we were relegated. With all the cards in his favour we just, and I mean just, scraped our way back into the League. This season he has his own squad and no excuses. Let's see what happens. Frankly most things you say are pitiful but then don't worry because most attention seekers are the same.

He has been consistent in his view that DC has made some big mistakes and has not yet proved himself in the FL. he doesn't fall for the stunts and sheep mentality is all really

Wow am I reading this right? We just scraped in? Well if you call amassing 91 points, only losing 5 games (same as 1989/90), unbeaten away for 20 matches and only conceding one goal in three matches against Grimsby scraping in then yes we did. We have to remember Grimsby and Barnet in particular had fantastic seasons themselves, as did City in 1989/90, if a team gets 90 plus points they deserve to go up, which is what happened, and unless every other team in your league has a average season then it will go down to the wire, like last season, but let's be clear, for much of the season Rovers and Barnet bossed it, hence we are about to play back in league two, and Grimsby and the others are playing again in the vanarama conference. What the team, and DC did last season was amazing, and I've every confidence that we will have a good season, provided we don't get injuries, we've just got to be patient, too many on here are too extreme either way, too excitable when we win, too depressed when we lose, as someone said earlier in this thread, we played 49 games last season and lost 5, the last team to get promoted at the first attempt went up via the playoffs with 72 points, now that's 19 less than we had, now that could be argued is scraping in??!!

Same old whinging people p1ssing themselves over a poor pre season performance, as they did for the majority of last season and we all know how that ended up.Some people couldn't see any positive even if they were looking at a battery. Yes we do, the manager often couldn't out-think part time teams, and dispite having a huge budget for the division, and him inheriting a defence that was easily good enough for L2 we just limped out of the division because Pittman can't hit a target that's 8 yards wide and 8 feet tall. That is not the main reason we won that match, Bamber, and if you think that, then you`re as deluded as some other posters think. The main reason we won that game, was because a non league referee made a non league decision, and allowed us to continue with 11 players.

The main reason we won that game was because of a non league referee making the non league decision of allowing Dover's goal to stand when Puddy was fouled.

Clarke has proved nothing yet, hopefully he will over the next 9 months, but to pretend that last season was some kind of triumph is more deluded than people going into meltdown because we've lost a training session yesterday. Getting out of a division where there's only 1 automatic promotion place the first time of asking wasn't a huge success? Patently absurd. Yeah and we only got promoted because Grimsby missed a penalty! Nothing to do with the 25/27 victories prior to the play off final. As Gary Neville would say...un-be-lieve-able

Playing in the conference is so damn easy that every team gets promoted in their first season down and no-one sits there for years.
DC should have had us promoted by Christmas and we should've been back in League 2 by January at the latest.

BOD give DC money to spend -
fans - 'We are going bust, how irresponsible to give him all this money, this is OUR club, how can they put us in this much debt!? I bet Higgs is on holiday in bloody italy isnt he, la-de-da!'
----------------------------------------------
BOD think, ahh we will only give DC the budget based on an average 6,000 home attendance, this is more reasonable than the quoted 8,000 for the past few seasons. Hopefully we can break-even on a standard season, and if we get a good cup run, maybe even pay some dept off!
'DC obviously has no money, this is a joke, we're doomed! Sack the board! Wheres the ambition! Wheres the money gone!'
NH has an easy job.

It's a lot easier if you don't mismanage the club into massive debt and get it relegated out of the Football League though.

His right ankle has the slightest of touches, he then lands and his left leg, realises that the ball has hit his shin and got away from him, so he throws himself on the floor. Ref got it right.
