Good atmosphere though. I`m sure the support our fans gave their team, played it`s part. Yeh agreed Alf. FA Cup 2nd round, early December so Christmas not far off. These fixtures don't get big attendances anymore. I don’t think i can remember an attendance this poor though. The pizza trophy, yes but not the FA cup

He, like Bob Marley, has so many great songs that I couldn’t pick a favourite.

Stats - BRFC 56 % Sutton United 44 % - Shots 11-7 - On Target 5-3 - Corners 5-6 - Fouls 8-13 - Yellows 2-2 - Reds 0-0 - Attendance 4,456 - Referee: Darren Drysdale. Very poor attendance. Shocked by that Like you I was disappointed with yesterday’s attendance, but after checking in todays newspaper overall the attendance’s for the fa cup fixtures were very poor, even Ipswich & Portsmouth who regularly attract 15000+ crowds only both had crowds of 7000. Just shows over the years how the fa cup has lost a bit of its appeal, hopefully reaching the 3rd round will see a greater interest especially if we get a decent tie.

We played King's Lynn in FA Cup 1st Round in 1984 and had a crowd of 3,500.
Early rounds of Cup have been poorly attended, unless it's a local Derby, like City 84, or Plymouth 82.

The pizza trophy, yes but not the FA cup Strange days, KP. Some people stay away because they don`t like the manager. Some people stay away because of Covid. Plus, as has been mentioned, the FA cup isn`t the crowd puller that it used to be. Not unless you draw one of the big boys.

Third consecutive season? Seriously? Really doesn't feel like it. It doesn't feel like it - but it's true! 2019-20 Rd 2 Plymouth; Rd 3 Coventry 2020-21 Rd 2 Darlington; Rd 3 Sheffield United 2021-22 Rd 2 Sutton Utd; Rd 3 [draw on ITV, Monday night] Ignoring the years when, as a second tier team, we qualified automatically for the third round, yesterday was the first time we have fought our way into the third round of the FA Cup in three consecutive seasons since 1969. 1966-67 Rd 2 Luton; Rd 3 Arsenal 1967-68 Rd 2 Wimbledon; Rd 3 Bristol City 1968-69 Rd 2 Bournemouth; Rd 3 Kettering In that hat-trick of third round ties, we progressed further only once; in 1969, after beating Kettering, we knocked out Bolton before falling to Everton in the fifth round.
