I’d add to that have to stop getting excited when we get points at crap like Colchester, every time we come up against a top half side the results are awful. Not enough clean sheets against them. But to be fair Duke, your post suggested it needs more than Barton sacking, you implied a new Owner is needed? Alternatively the owner can simply invest and find other investors and bring in a Chairman, ChiefExec and DOF who can do those roles well, and leave them to it, without playing Football Manager so poorly himself. They would have to be trusted friends so how about … Chairman. Will Smith DOF. Mesut Özil CEO. Irene’s Toy Boy why trusted friends. Daniel Levy doesn’t own Tottenham, if he was appointed Chairman here tomorrow we would feel saved wouldn’t we, even without change of owner.

Even the most avid of Barton fan boys/girls must understand that HE is the biggest problem of all. He has fractured a once truly loyal fan base, had fans fighting with one another and is so full or ordure that any horse would be proud of. The trouble is, we get an occasional win and then we have the usual suspects show theirselves and all of a sudden we are going to be fighting towards the top end The truth is that we will be very lucky to survive this season in this league and we are looking like a , using Bartons words, team of pub players. It’s bloody sad to see and even sadder to be a witness to it. I had no idea just how bad this fraud and his boss are. Wael al qadi, hang your head in shame for what you have done to this once proud little club, we may not have had successes but we have never ever been so fractious and both forums are full of awful vitriol. It’s so bloody sad, it really is To be honest, its the apathy and disengagement that I find worse. Unfortunately the soul has been ripped out of the club and I think people are finding it harder and harder to care. A kind of learned helplessness sets in...the domestic violence circus;Maher scuttling off to Southend and Hill to wherever he ended up (I don't care); Akinde turning us down; Hughes apparently doing a press conference while drunk....a slow 'drip drip' effect that saps the will to live. And that's now another 3-1 defeat to a mediocre L2 team who we have made look like Brazil circa 1970. The only upside is that Carlisle and Sc*unthorpe appear to be even worse than us - shades of Halifax in that season the team finished second from bottom?

How is Hughes injury coming along? Bookies liked us pre season on the basis their subject matter experts like signing of Hughes and Coutts.

Loved Pitmans goal! County cut through us too often and too comfortably. We created a few chances, but not enough. We're abit wishy washy in our passing sometimes, except for Whelan ,a good passer. I think we could do with a couple of solid defenders. I thought Belshaw played well. Worst player on the field, who had a one on one with Belshaw to possibly score Countys fourth,Abraham.Looks non league to me. I think Joe has plenty to do,but it's certainly not all bad. I expect Barton to pick the team next week, but it’s last chance saloon isn’t it Bas?

Had a stadium built for him and then still has no real idea Levy out!!(and take Barton with Jim 🤭)

The book makers set odds on nothing other than looking and wondering what a club of this stature was doing messing around in a toilet bowl with Forest Green Rovers and Harrogate. Add to that a presumption of competence in the way that they club is managed, and of course the odds suggested we would be making fools out of Swindon, who had no money and no squad when those odds were first broadcast.

Spurs are the laughing stock of north London, but he organised them playing at the national stadium whilst their new ground was built. There are probably worse owners. Come to think of it, Arse won the FA Cup at Wemberley whilst Spurs were using the ground, so now they've won the League and the FA cup at Spurs' home.

The point being though, he isn’t the owner, he’s the football man the owner takes hands off and trusts to run the football club. That is the thing we need here.

I didn’t hear any booing at all on the radio, so Joey still obviously has many thousand of Bartonista below the We Trust banner. Those of you in ground on final whistle, no half a pasty thrown at manager this time?
It doesn’t feel as bad this evening as it did against Swindon. P35 W8 D5 L22 F32 A51 win ratio 22.9% though. How does anyone survive with that?

When Wael arrived, who would have thought for a second that almost 6 years later we would have run up record losses, would still be in the same dump of a stadium, would have one of football's most despised characters as manager, and would sit 86th out of 92 clubs. And barely a murmur of dissent from the terraces about it. “When Wael arrived, who would have thought for a second that almost 6 years later we would have run up record losses, would still be in the same dump of a stadium, would have one of football's most despised characters as manager, and would sit 86th out of 92 clubs.” If Colchester take a point off Sutton, we are basically 19th, below Colchester, Crawley, Walsall, Barrow, Rochdale. Sutton Utd. Games on the horizon. Tranmere, Salford, green, vale, Northampton and tea rooms. (And Oxford won’t want to lose at home to us in cup). Managers current record. P35 W8 D5 L22 F32 A51 win ratio 22.9% Okay, proposed solutions then. 1. The team need to hear a new voice as manager. One of the telling moments on commentary was the triple change, commentator asked Rodman to pick the bones out of what it means in formation, and Rodman couldn’t. 2. Wael needs to hand over hands off to a proper football man to run the club as Chairman. Wielding such power properly is obviously a professional role, not game for rich kids. 3. Even then there is no magic wand, it’s going to take time. Are we on the same page Duke, for like the first time ever?

Darrell Clarke currently sits in 2nd place, Ben Garner is in 6th, i wonder who is laughing right now.
We have the 7th biggest crowd capacity at the Mem, behind Bradford, Port Vale, Carlisle, Tranmere, Swindon & Oldham.
There really is something fundamentally wrong with our great club, goes way back to previous owners & directors.
Not enough re-investment of player transfer money going back in to the team to build for the future.
We have sold for decent money Stewart, Ellington, Agogo, Harrison, Lambert, Martyn, Randall & others with not much of the monies made available to the managers.

And just as seriously, based on what evidence? Based on quite a mountain of evidence, I think the rest of us now suspecting, and this is being fair not even mentioning short fuse and history of violence, Talented footballer, likely underachieved through so often acting a prat. A sense he actually enjoyed the attention being naughtiest boy in class and played up to it. Despite showing less talent for football management and coaching, he is wasting two precious opportunities in management through continuing to enjoy the media attention rather than getting it right in front camera and on field. In a few weeks a court will decide a case which could prove Joey committed ‘the’ most stupidest example of football management behaviour of all time bar none. “I suspect given plenty of time he can succeed at Rovers.I also suspect Wael might give Joe this season and plenty of next too.” As his advocate, what are you seeing to support these suspicions, evidence currently invisible to the rest of us?

Whose going up? Plenty of hotels. Betty’s Mince Pies are the best.

To be fair, Basel says he thinks Wael will give him this season, not that he thinks he should. I have no faith that Wael will do the right thing and get rid of Barton. I have no idea why. Maybe he believes in him for some reason, maybe he’s handed over control to Barton and his mates and really doesn’t care anymore
