LEAHY, WILLIAMS, KILGOUR (but needs an experience partner), MARTINEZ, NICHOLSON, WESTBROOKE, DALY?
RODMAN to some sort of coaching role?
I'd actually let Jaakola go. Why is he injured so often???
JB's first new signing is hugely significant in terms of intent.

Odds update. Blackpool win tightening everywhere best now 6-10. Gas win at 5-1. Draw at 3. To avoid finishing bottom Rovers must win and hope Swindon only draw or lose at Wigan. Wimbledon's FA cup win says hi. odds versus football, bloody hell. We can find a few goals and get off the bottom today. No reason not to play with shackles off and energy and zip. My complete lack of faith in Mr Barton and our version of the Crazy Gang (Hamer - remember him) has resulted in a short term investment decision that has paid my bar bill for the next couple of days. |

injured is often a euphemism for not available for selection. For example, caught cheating with team mates wife, not available for selection, get a slap from coach and slapped back, not available for selection. So how many injuries preventing selection today are injuries?

Looked pretty solid in back 4 and 5 man midfield. Created some great openings, rod could have done better, especially free header. As commentary put it, gave Simms freedom of the box to slot winner. Suspect if you freeze frame it, all our defenders ball watching, not aware of his movement at all. Joey responded to this late set back and need to chase the game by bringing Little on. |

Here you go,it snowed on Good Friday 1975,Rovers v Man Utd. Apparently this year was the coldest and driest April on record. I still havent seen a Swift or a Swallow and I have usually seen loads by this time in May. I havent been to Australia but my son said that Bondi is overrated he said that there are better beaches in Sydney. I've seen several swallows in Backwell. I wouldn't usually, but someone pointed them out. Lovely House Martins Sand Martins since early/mid March and Swallows 5 weeks ago followed by Swifts a fortnight ago in Sunny Cheddar, plenty of Swallows and House Martins regular skimming on the reservoir |

I think that Tisdale brought Williams the full back in ? I would be interested to hear what someone who really knows the game thinks should happen,people on forums say 'get rid of them all' but maybe its key areas that need strengthening ? Obviously the strikers arent scoring,is is it confidence or are they useless ? are the defenders good enough ? is the midfield missing a tough tackling player ? The next few months will be more interesting than the last few in some ways. |

Rovers would have been if Garner had stayed for the whole season and had he been able/allowed to strengthen the squad in January. |

Thank God that season is over...I dont honestly remember a more depressing season and I can go back to the 70s...(80/81 was bad but at least our manager didn't have a cv that contained headbutting a rival boss). I always hated the end of season and the start of a long summer without the Gas..but this year it seems something of a relief😒

The most disappointing thing for me today is to see that, even though already relegated, Rochdale, Northampton and Swindon all put up a fight and achieved creditable results but Rovers didn’t.
