Just seen the line-up. Who is playing up front?? Rodders the lone striker? Another new position for Dave? Top scorer Leahy leading the line, with Dave at left-back? I think it’s back 3 with Leahy in it?

Husband being given time and space. Blackpool look good going forward. We're the normal mish-mash with no clear pattern for attack

Harries and Hargreaves yellow cards. sending offs could torpedo the start to new season. Jed Ward looks small, good job he is still growing.

It may be 0-0 but Blackpool clearly have much more quality on the ball.

We're looking vulnerable down the right. There's space for Blackpool behind Westbrooke and in front of Williams

We're looking vulnerable down the right. There's space for Blackpool behind Westbrooke and in front of Williams yes and Husband has been showing up there as you say, especially on the switch in play whilst we are looking away. That seems the most likely way in for pool, though with the back four instead of 3 the defensive width is better and gives us more time to press husband. We have a screen in front back 4 today, and it’s making all the difference in looking pretty solid.

You have posted nothing to disagree with, except that media are in it for themselves, selling copy, funding the holiday and the mortgage and the apple upgrade. Barton helps sell copy whilst boring old bloke we haven’t yet heard of who has coaching and management experience to turn us round and take us up wont sell nearly as many papers. It’s showbusiness, baby. you don’t mind if I call you baby? It’s just the implication you might be sat on bondi beach surrounded by bikini’s whilst those of us in the lee of Purdown have been freezing our nuts off all year. Don't know what they see in Bondi Beach myself. Just a grotty oversized cove full of rocks. Yeah but we would take it though. For those overseas, and considering the average age on this forum is one hundred and eighty so I am about to be told this spring is luxury compared to 1684, this has been consistently the coldest Bristol spring ever. 🥶

Apparently this year was the coldest and driest April on record. I still havent seen a Swift or a Swallow and I have usually seen loads by this time in May. I havent been to Australia but my son said that Bondi is overrated he said that there are better beaches in Sydney.

I wouldn't usually, but someone pointed them out. Lovely

56 minutes Rodman puts over bar. The point here, in 4 1 4 1 formation, we held ball so long we got McCormack in space for cross four available in box.

Waiting on the front at Seaton last night killing time for my Takeaway and a man in his 60's with his Granddaughter was wearing shorts with the waves crashing all round. We had a chat about him wearing shorts in a gale and he told me he was a little bit mad.Went on to say he was from Clevedon and was thrown out the Tote End a few times in his youth.Gasheads smile in in the depths of adversity.

Lovely We were at Ashton Court a few times this week, usually see Swallows there but they are as rare as Rovers goals this year....maybe some on the way.

Classic away tactics. Shame JB hasn't deployed them previously. Imagine if we had a striker on the pitch...

Luxury. aren’t Bristol Easters normally colder than our Christmas? there about a five week gap the Vatican can place Easter in? Judaism still uses moons? I nearly convinced a boss for us to adopt Julian calendar because there are more feast days.

What's the contractual situation with Harries & Baldwin? Grim. We can’t get rid of them. 😐

It’s not that we can’t creat great chances and get 3 away points in this formation, Rodman could have a hatrick, Tudonda close too.

Joey hasn’t made a crazy game saving substitution yet. Oh here comes Little.
