Once again, if Clarke Harris had looked fit and interested, we would have won. We had loads of attempts at goal, hit the woodwork and were the better team. We were unlucky not to win. I think stats were 5 or 6 shots with 3 on target and 51% possession. For all those singing the “we was unlucky” blues that right there is the proof that you make your own luck in life. 3 shots on target away to Tranmere. They’ve conceded something like 20 goals in their last 7 home games so other teams find it easier to play in those conditions. We just weren’t good enough- again.

No excuses for that, they had lost their last 5 and conceded 10 goals along the way. Nothing to do with the wind or the pitch, in case people aren't familiar with how this works, both teams play on the same pitch and they swap ends half way through the game. This can't go on. Garner is taking us nowhere, nowhere that we want to go anyway, it's pointless continuing with this nonsense. So win, lose or draw you would have been straight on here whinging then Results say far more than I ever could. Came within moments of equalling the record for length of time without scoring a goal in our 137 year history. Now, if I understand Harry correctly, we've equalled the record for number of consecutive games without a win. But it's OK, because Tranmere (LLLLL) played well and we almost scored.

It is just fact that we are, collectively, very passive and most are reluctant to actually do anything. I admit to have been amongst that, with the Black & Gold & I feel some shame in that I never actually did anything but I’m finding it very difficult to read the excuses being served up. It’s bad enough losing but to hear people now attempting to rationalise a record equalling 14 games without a win & finding positives in it, well it just twists my melon, man !

Too hard for them to change from lumping into the channels? That made me laugh. Good to read some dry humour still exists

You can see it at home games, they have lost any confidence & composure that the previous manager instilled. The bulk of the players hardly know what to do when they get the ball and rid themselves of it quickly, mostly to the opposition. This will make for terrible ST sales if allowed to continue. But I thought ST sales were gonna fall if GC stayed? Confused. I know that whenever we have been in a good position, our attendances have gone up but when it gets interesting. Look at how many couldn’t get tickets v Forest green. I’m sure we would have had good attendances had we been able to maintain top 6 but it’s academic anyway. I’ve heard a lot say they will not be renewing their ST and I’m talking longterm ST buyers. I’m sorry if this offends anyone but Wael made yet another big mistake and it is the club that will hurt for it. If this was any other sphere of business then Wael and Garner would have been on warnings. I know we are a passive bunch but I just don’t understand the excuses. I will still go, it’s been a big part of my life since I was a kid and I enjoy the time spent with people I otherwise wouldn’t see but this is not funny and it is a circus. It is all about opinions and I respect that right but to basically write off a season is bloody criminal, as I see it. I always want and have wanted better for us.

When our young team are flying high under garner next season we will all look back on this with a wry smile.
Good news for garner is that bamber has wrote him off just as he did with dc so that at least is a massive boost for ben.

I’m wondering when, or if, we will see any if them make a starting line up. I do hope we don’t have another DC type of situation where we have loans but don’t use them. I think it’s obvious the Clarke- Harris likes to play with someone alongside him as he cane out backing Nichols.

A lot of people will say to me, just be honest but when I am, they get offended or someone will get offended on their behalf 👍🏻😱 Do you do Twitter ? If so then it is rammed with the latter examples. I used to be a regular tweeter but not now, I do find it fantastic if you want to find news, quickly. I also found it superb for getting a stolen wallet returned, sans the money but the items of importance were left. I think you would find it very funny, given the nature of your posts.

I’ve wanted to ask for awhile, did you ever post under the name woodseats wurzel, on the banned official forum ? I ask as I seem to remember the avatar but my memory can play tricks on me

Facts don't care about feelings KP I hope Garner can sort it out, but my thought is that what he's doing has the players looking like 1974 Brazil on the training ground, but of course it doesn't work when you have seasoned old pros lined up against you. Add to that, we don't really have Messi, Cazorla and Aguero. I'm inclined to think that it may have gone too far already and the players may now be starting to roll their eyes when Ben walks over to them with his iPad.

It’s bad enough losing but to hear people now attempting to rationalise a record equalling 14 games without a win & finding positives in it, well it just twists my melon, man ! The s**theads on that abominable thread on Otib are laughing their ass off at us, making the point that we are the most masochistic fanbase who stand for nothing and will accept anything because we have no standards. I tend to agree having the seen the poll on asschat about how the majority still had faith in the board and the majority expected Garner to come good despite very little evidence to the contrary. We really are a laughing stock and actually wear our pitiful state as a badge of honour as if it is the very identity of the club. That’s what really twists my melon. And yet...it didn’t use to be this way. Remember the out cry when Buckle suggested we lower our expectations? I expect Garner could say the same tomorrow and the majority would lap it up and accept that we’re going to be crap for a long time because Magical Ben will turn it around even if we have to give him 200 games without a win to get it right. I remember the hardcore on the forums hounding Penney mercilessly as being a rubbish manager and a clown even though he has 2 more promotions to his name than Garner. I for one wish we had shown Penney an Nth of the support Garner is getting. Basically what blows my mind is quite how Garner, despite having no track record to speak of, has seduced the majority of the fans. What is it? The promise of sexy football? Is it that everyone hated Coughlan that much that Garner gets a free pass? Or do people just subconsciously enjoy us being a laughing stock? 14 games without a win as a manager- who else would stand for that? And yet his job is safer than that of DC or GC. Only at Rovers. Only at Bristol Rovers.

I think Barrett is losing his Christmas pounds, and Daly has a minor injury And TimmyTam isn't a player for a mud bath, I reckon

According to Keith Brookman, Upson got his 10th yellow last night so will be out for 2 games. Ollie Clarke on 9, so one more and the same will apply.

I'm broadly in agreement with vertigo (and that doesn't happen often)! I'm usually glass half-empty, but I'm finding the relentless negativity by some as tedious as a 30+ page thread on Ken Masters. I really like the look of Mitchell-Lawson (my MOM yesterday) and Ginnelli. Both have pace, desire and skill. Barrett looks good on the ball and could add some creativity to our sluggish mid-field (Ogogo, O Clarke & Upson has never really worked). Gutted JML missed that sitter early on yesterday - but the conditions were horrendous. In time - I am confident we will get goals. What I would concede is that the back four is a mess as we don't have a decent full back (either side) and Craig + anyone else in the centre is a disaster waiting to happen, due largely to lack of pace. It is almost a certainty that we will not go down. I'm tempted to say have a look at the bookies odds on such an occurrence happening, but Bambi might have another melt-down. Actually WTF - bookies odds bookies odds bookies odds bookies odds bookies odds bookies odds bookies odds. It now looks like Tranmere / Wimbledon are in a straight fight for the last relegation spot. Yesterday WAS a good point, as a Tranmere win would have closed the gap on teams above them and given them confidence and a bit of hope. It really was vital we did not lose. And we didn't. It was ugly, we fought hard, we gained a point. Ultimately post GC, this will go down as a re-building season. Disappointing for some - but it is what it is. Get over yourselves. I can't see Dwane Sports panicking and getting rid of BG. We are playing better. Obviously we need to get the monkey off the back and get a win. It will come. Keep the faith & UTG.

What a pile of old tosh based on nothing more than wishful thinking. Our defence was what the form was built on, Garner has destroyed everything that was good. He may come good, but you could say the same about literally any bloke you pass in the street. He should be gone and this madness should be ended already.

Good news for garner is that bamber has wrote him off just as he did with dc so that at least is a massive boost for ben. And lets not forget Bamber wrote off GC after the colossal amount of 7 games in charge (we amassed 11 points in those 7 games btw)...This is the same GC who went on to get us to our highest league position in 20 years. The Playstation managers will never understand but this is a season like no other with effectively only 1 relegation place up for grabs (and there was always going to be at least 6 clubs finishing above us) so this is the perfect time to get a plan/ style of play in place to hopefully hit the ground running next season. This may or may not succeed but Playstation managers aside must see what we are attempting to do. That said GC badly needs a win probably more than the club do right now. GC has my total support
