Even if Orient had equalised, I would have come away saying that I thoroughly enjoyed that game. Good goals, good football both passing and running with the ball, high tempo and a physical challenge. Had the lot at this level. i do agree with you,it was like watching a championship match today,,,leadbitters pace,,,easter and gaffneys diagonal runs, lockyers authority etc etc such a joy and a very good orient team with jay simpson and there right winger looking a menace throughout You are right about Leadbitters pace causing them so many problems that they had to resort to fouling him constantly, not that the ref gave many of them. He should be praised for not retaliating other than facing his defender and laughing in his face. Mature beyond his years. With his attacking flare and all the right attributes to play anywhere, maybe give him a spell up front during a game where we are well on top score wise.

Some very creative counting. We got there at 14:45 and were told that we could not get into West, South or East. We had to go to the ticket office and were to,d we were very lucky to get tickets in the North. There was a big queue up until 15:25 coming into the North. It was a full house and this is pretty naughty.

Had the lot at this level. The only downside, for me, was how quiet the crowd was. Hell, I even tried to start the Rory Gaffney song but I got looked at as if I was special needs

Hi Kp, I guess we all have our own opinion on this but from my view there were plenty of home seats available in the South stand, the East Terrace wasn't full and don't forget Orient didn't take up their full allocation for their terrace or seats so I don't think it was that far off the right number. With regard to the noise of the crowd there were times when the North Terrace was singing two or three songs at the same time but no it wasn't singing all the time but no crowd does. You might not have noticed this but the one official was indicating to the ref that he couldn't hear what was being said because of the noise of the crowd. At least we weren't being searched (well I wasn't) before coming into the ground as we have been previously when coming in or else the queue may have been even longer !
