It's a big game between two FCs in great form.
Grecians will have a legion or two at the Mem,having sold out their ticket allocation.
93 games played between ECFC and Rovers.
31 Grecians won. 31 Rovers won. 31 drawn.
We've already been spanked twice by Exeter this season, but these days Joe has Rovers playing some fantastic football and we hav'nt conceded a goal for a healthy amount of time.
While Rovers battled at Stevenage and Orient,Exeter have had their feet up.
I'm happy Sam Finley is available.
So many super performances from individuals lately.I'm sure Joe will keep them "humble and hungry" and that looks vital ingredients to a FCs 'pot of gold',consistency.
I think both Rovers and Exeter will continue to challenge at the top end of the 4th tier, whatever the result of this game.
Biggest game since GCs challengers victory at Ipswich Town, although it is still only 3 points for a win,1 for a draw and 0 for losing.
9000 plus crowd at the Mem?🤞
We are "challenging".It's official.
Absolutely looking forward to what could be a great Mem football match!
Come on Rovers!

It would be fantastic to get a full house! Edit. I think the 10,500 capacity is correct. Thatchers End sold out. Under 1000 tickets left. Great stuff!

After watching 2 of the best footballing displays I have seen from a Rovers side in years against Sutton & Stevenage & the hard battling win against Orient on Tuesday, it would be great if we could put one over Exeter ( our nemesis this season ) tomorrow. With over 10000 tickets sold & the weather forecast looking decent it should hopefully be a decent game with a great atmosphere.

Great match preview chat from Joe.
Grecian manager Matt Taylor looked comfortable (super form team) and looking forward to the game in his preview.
I think we must keep it tight at the back.
Win the midfield battle (all battles),gain possession and from that I think we'll naturally create chances.
Oh and might as well enjoy it!😉
Hell of a prospect!
Up the Gas!

Putting any personal problems to one side (and we've all got them); with what is going in the world right now, I hope you understand that I can't really raise any excitement or enthusiasm for the game today.
Well done to whoever put the Ukrainian flag on the top of the page banner.
I've noticed we haven't had our flag on the West Stand flagpole for a while - would be a nice show of solidarity if the club could raise the bands of blue and yellow for the foreseeable future.

Thanks The Concept, and great idea. I deliberated about 'sport & politics shalt not mix'. But concluded "f*ck it".

Thanks The Concept , and great idea. I deliberated about 'sport & politics shalt not mix'. But concluded "f*ck it". You made the right choice. To borrow from John Arlott on cricket ... "Say that football has nothing to do with politics and you say that football has nothing to do with life." With the flag, I'd go as far as to say actually make a point of it and raise the blue & yellow just before kick-off, so everyone can see it. Anyone from the singing section? Perhaps start a chorus of "Ukraine" ... to the tune of "Rovers, Rovers... " / Amazing Grace.

Like everyone else I’m sure, I am extremely concerned about the Ukraine situation. That Putin can act in such a barbaric manner, against all International law and human decency is beyond belief. There is nothing I can do. There is nothing any of us can do except hope and pray that the financial measures put in place by the rest of the world brings this lunatic to heel. Even then you’ve got the likes if Italy securing a pass to continue selling their luxury goods to wealthy Russians, the very people supporting Putin. All in all, going to Rovers, win lose or draw, is an opportunity to escape the woes of this world for a few hours before returning home to switch on and receive another barrage of bad news and disasters of various sorts. UTG.

I will be happy to chant the name Ukraine.
Then I'll enjoy our football match.
Worrying every moment of the day won't make any difference except possibly lead to depression.
Don't get me wrong, what's happening in Ukraine is enough to make me weep.Madness and somehow desperately sad and shameful that i/we belong to this time of the human existence.
We can do both.
Enjoy the football match and show support to the people of Ukraine.
UKRAINE!

So the pitch is a boxing ring and when that bell rings we punch Exeter on the nose to get revenge on ’em for beating us last time. The bloke is permanently punchdrunk and sees everything through blood-spattered glasses. One day it’s war rhetoric as he refers to the team as his army. The next day they’re street fighters in his own image. He’s getting more dictatorial with every new victory and he’ll be sucking up the adoration today. I hope he falls flat on his nose and Exeter give him another lesson in how to play football.
