A JCH inspired bit of magic gave us a 1-0 win there last time out. However the previous 7 games at Priestfield yielded L L L L L L L. An away game I won't be sad to miss. Gillingham, the town, it's pubs, and the awful away stand which is dodgy scaffolding with no roof... I'm hoping Tommy Widdrington can continue to inspire the troops. Fingers crossed, 2-1 to the Gas. And Widdrington to move a big step closer to getting the job til the end of the season. Generally: Gills 6-5, Gas 9-4, Draw 9-4. iFollow and a 1pm kick off. UTG.

Awful away venue, I've only visited once, in pre M25 days... We lost that day too.
I'll take a draw now, but after Tuesday night inspiring performance, all results wouldn't surprise me.
I'll say 1-1 and if true, a two match promotion form run.......I hope we stick with a similar format as it's going to be a battle. Interesting opportunity for Hanlan to shut up Evans, as his departure was entwined with spurious comments.
Tin hat on... I would keep Ehmer out of the fold for the time being. All our starting team deserve the opportunity to cement a place in the team, including the very capable, possibly most unsung hero, Leahy...

Did anybody go to the 2002 FA Cup game following the Derby victory which was rained off just after lunchtime?
If so, did you go to another game instead. We went to Charlton v Ray Graydon's Walsall. Walsall won 2-1 but we didn't know then the horrors that awaited us.
Gills won the rearranged game 1-0 and we missed out on a tie with Arsenal and finished 91st in the League. Thank you Halifax.

Their form isn't awe-inspiring so I'm going for a Gas win, 1-3.

we have followed the football for many decades. Against all expectations, There’s that one midweek win, fine performances with more than one goal, suddenly the sky is awash with swallows, the corners been turned. then on Saturday back to normal, the impotent slide back to relegation. this isn’t just doomporn this is blue and white realism isn’t it? however I have one thing to add to the conversation. And if I said this at anytime even just months or weeks ago, there would have been uproar in the village and you would have marched on my palace. But, yeah, but, he does have that mistake in him, but for undoubted bravery never shirking a 50/50 or a penalty, determination, does his best for us, it’s time I say to throw our replica shirted arms around him and embrace him as one of our own. I’m talking Luke Leahy.

I’m talking Luke Leahy. Emperor,I've rated him from when he first played. He was one of those players that was picked on by many Gasheads. "Doing a job" is not enough for some. Ollie Clark got it from them too. I wonder how many of them even played local football because if they did/had,they might have a different understanding. I see your point that following a decent victory v Pompey,we'll be back to normal v Gills and get beat. I hope the lads are well tested, but have the mental strength to get another result. I'll be happy with a point.

Good line up. 2 up front. Presume Oztumer is injured? The one person who could unlock a defence... great to come off the bench when the game opens up in the last 30 mins? C'mon Rovers.

Will be chuffed to keep a clean sheet. 0-0 would be a great result.

With Daly in behind Hanlan/Ayunga, looks like Grant and McCormick will have their work cut out in the middle. An attacking line up. Should be goals in this one.
