When we're losing, why leave it so late to try Ayunga up top? Like-for-like subs don't inspire much when behind, either. Blow the whistle, ref. We've got nothing.

Really poor match today, but totally predictable in the circumstances. UTG

Oh, dear... Kinda winding the clock back to September.
The best team won by a mile. I can't formulate an our side m o m.
Hardly strung two passes together. Can't defend, in one instance it looked like a comedy sketch just trying to clear the ball. Defended too deep. Conceded too much space in own area. Not much marking in own area. Loads of unforced errors. Loads of individual errors. No creativity moving forward in a slow tempo, lethargic attack mode.
From free kick that was pushed out, 3 v 1(their keeper) we managed to conspire to hit the keeper twice, and third shot cleared off the line when it looked easier to score.
A poor, poor show.
MK D were far better than us, defended well and were unlucky not to score more, and we made them look much better by not getting basics right.
Hopefully just a blip, but on this showing Tis has his work cut out...
With hindsight, I'm so glad I couldn't attend!

Tis seems to like experience. Rodman and Little on bench after no game time. Apart from Armstrong no youth on bench today.

We were screwed from the moment Tis put in that pathetic team sheet of cloggers.

Given the build up to the game we had, players out and not having trained, I am relatively pleased we kept the score down to 2-0.

...I am relatively pleased we kept the score down to 2-0. I think it was MK who did that. The way we played they should have been three up in the first eighteen minutes. So I too felt relatively happy at the final score.

Enthusiasm-less Rovers did not want to be there, matched equally by my own enthusiasm to watch, the awful pitch played it's part as well, gave up shortly after Barrett came on and gave away a simple pass that was turned into a counter attack, as the camera panned out Barrett was trotting back watching the attack unfold.

One chuckle I did have was that only 'home' commentary was available on ifollow and I found the MK presenters to be quite gracious and humble, being 2-0 up in the 80th min, they were still using terms such as 'the game hangs in the balance' and 'it's still anybody's game,' what a polite, nice pair of Gents I thought.

Thing is when we signed Slaperass ,he doesn't like bright lights, keep him away from water, and most importantly don't feed him after midnight.
