I spent the last half hour polishing the silver (not an euphemism). We were never going to score. Darlington must have been really crap for us to put six past them. Fifty-four years of my life wasted. Its bloody Harold Jarman's fault - I was a happy Wolves fan until he got me hooked on Rovers.

It's not about "tweaking" Garnerball. There's a lot of work to be done. I’m not sure. The performance and football never this dire under Garner. Not at the end. it needs more Garnerball, because moving ball quickly, moving into space off the ball, and a better press than we showed last 3 league games is football. Garner wasn’t undone by garner ball, he was undone by the quality of the players. Emer, Baldwin and Killer can’t even deal with simple passes over the top. The three forwards either injured or missing the target. No one in the rest of the team helping them out with goals. And everyone blamed Ben, even though he got some fine performances and points out of this dross. the squads dross. The people running the football side of the club have screwed up. The result is we are going down.

All down to him. I still think the squad is good enough, just unbalanced, and with some young and inexperienced players who are naturally going to be inconsistent until they have some miles on the clock. Garner got more points than I ever thought he would but the wheels were starting to fall off and he would definitely have got us relegated. He couldn't get the best out of this squad, and would have been out of his depth in a puddle. That was apparent 3 games into his tenure. We have a chance of avoiding relegation under Tisdale.

We haven't much choice. We need a manager to last his own season. This hasn't happened since DC. 2017-8: DC alone, finishing thirteenth. 2018-9: DC then GC, finishing fifteenth. 2019-20: GC then BG, finishing fourteenth. 2020-1: BG then PT, finishing badly(?). You may recall, I gave GC úntil May 2020. GC disagreed, and jumped ship in mystery. I then gave BG until May 2021. WAQ disagreed, sacking Rovers worst boss. I miss retaining managers for two years. It seems a lot like we're rubbish again.

4th in the league to this crap in less than a year.
I wonder how Wael and others that disliked the winning football under Coughlan and his battlers, now feel about it in retrospect?

It was probably unsustainable financially though which is why they have had to drastically change the ethos and throw out all the honest pros replacing them with cheap as chips youngsters with a few technically good but soft as s**t older guys thrown in to pay lip service to experience. It’s all been done without the proper knowledge at the club as to how to build such a side, both in the manager’s chair, the coaches on the bench and the brains trust in the boardroom. All of them have at some point or other made bad decisions that have brought us to where we are and the frustrating thing is that some of those decisions we could clearly see were wrong.!it didn’t take a genius to see the flaws in the plan.

Apparently we have a game. I shall leave it for others as the news that Ellen Page is "Trans" has hit me hard. What next, Wynona, Keira, Audrey? Its a bit too much. Take a breath Syg, it's Elliot not Elaine apparently (picture below) but the bigger question is what is Alton Gas doing that he has to stop?

I look again at what I said “it needs more Garnerball, because moving ball quickly, moving into space off the ball, and a better press than we showed last 3 league games is football. Those of you wanting Garner gone have what you deserve, a manager preferring Upson to Westbrook, Leahy to Totunda, Baldwin in place of someone who can defend etc.

If we had any nous at the club at all we wouldn’t have hired either of them nor brought in the crap players that Widdrington or Garner or whoever sourced and paid for. The whole lot is a total and utter shambles and the club will be paying for it for a long time.

Summer recruitment has been found out imbalance of left backs what had happened to Tutonda. The lack of strikers will send us down.Defending has been abysmal throughout the start and loss of Tony Craig has not been resolved.
Plough Lane on Saturday will not be an easy trip and Wimbledon will be tough to beat.

Just seen the depressing highlights.
Press or getting stuck in.
Press.I'm going to run towards you in hopefully determined style, but don't worry,I won't actually attempt to tackle you.So you'll know you've got extra time to control the ball and find a team mate with a pass. You will win all 50 50s and even the 60 40s in my favour.
Get stuck in.I'm coming in as hard as i can,for the whole game. You will know from early on I am about.We/my team will win the midfield battle.
Rovers looked weak defensively and in attack.
