From what I gather...meandering aimless pass pass pass for the sake of it,useless and awful to watch. As is aimless route 1 long ball. Final third, decision making. This may take sometime, like alot of this season? We may have to be patient. Have we enough movement upfront to aim for? Are we obsessed with possession at the expense of risking a 'killer pass'? Watching on a one camera coverage it is hard to say what movement is happening. Posh let us have the ball in our third of the pitch, only pressing when the back three got further forward. So it must be imagined that space was at a premium. passing was mixed up looking short, long and diagonal and not always successful. Not sure what the answer is, maybe changed shape, 4 4 2 or 4 5 1 or back to 3 2 4 1, or 3 4 3. Would seem we lack someone to come from deep to commit opponents out of shape. Maybe lacking some pace at times. Sure some expert on here can suggest how we should have changed. I thing change was needed as Posh tactics were working.

I thought we played as well as we can, remembering the age of the squad and how they are still developing.
We started brilliantly, but ultimately they scored 2 great goals and probably would have found a way to score, because they were outstanding.
They needed to be to beat us, I think if we start like that with that intensity and pressure we will win more than we lose.
I would have been over the moon with a point, JCH didn't get a kick, Dembele is a Championship player at the very least.
Well done Gas, good effort.
No doom or gloom from me

Thought we were beaten by the better team, tbh.
Two absolute screamers sorted us out. Championship finishing, where really we had little answer.
Posh showed more temperament, played the ball better looked dangerous everywhere (but particularly on our right of defence) and were worthy winners.
We had a couple of spurned chances, but Jaak made two fantastic saves, one tip onto the post that looked in....so it could so easily have been worse.
Dembele m o m for me. Jaak our m o m for me.
Positives include credit to BG for having faith in AK and sticking with him. Hanlan again tirelessly ran his heart out, even created one great opportunity for himself. Jaak goalkeeping kept us in it. Hare got alot of opportunity for his sometimes pinpoint crosses. Decent defence to shut out and keep quiet jch..
Negatives include not Daly day. Alfie committing himself to lead to first goal. I still think BG does not have a clue how to manipulate or change a game when it's slipping from us, an unforced change after 2 down is naive to think we can claw something from a match that had slipped away. BG acted too late again, and I still haven't seen anything to make me think he can affect a positive result through his changes or subs.
Ok, Peterborough showed us some classy, sophisticated football even without a jch input, and we did compete alot in first half.
Maybe it's just me but I was left a little disappointed we couldn't have made it far more difficult for them..

And to be fair Simon, I want Ben to sort this out, but I honestly don't think he's going to achieve anything more than thrashing around low / mid-table at best. Is it better? It couldn't have got worse. Is it what should be expected as he's been allowed to recruit exactly what he wanted? You tell me. if you are saying it’s early days for this group, I would agree. I think finish between 17th and 10th this season would seem about Right this evening. We are starting to play Solid, organised, composed football. I think we can rule out a relegation scrap and look forward to some decent unbeaten runs. It was You Groiny who used phrase glass chin after enduring high lites of the Doncaster debacle. Maybe in hindsight blips are understandable when first change a defensive line up, but we don’t look like we have a glass chin problem now. If you are asking can we expect them to get better and break the top 10 this season, this would hinge on gaining more of a cutting edge, but the point there being it’s going to be fun following their attempt to dismantle the problem of lack of cutting edge. If they do, we could see strides forward in weeks months rather than months years. being a fan is the life of hard work and certain sacrifice? As I said somewhere before, we shouldn’t expect the Pomp of Edward Elgar without the accompanying circumstance. does that help? Don't think I've ever used the expression 'glass chin', not in relation to Rovers anyway. But by all means find that post and point me towards it. I would argue that plenty of other squads have been rebuilt over the summer, we are 3 points off of relegation, 8 off of the play offs after a quarter of the season. We have 3 wins, none have been convincing. Not good enough, but as good as could be expected or hoped for with Garner anywhere near the first team. We need to ditch him and get a serious manager, then we stand a chance of progressing and not going in to games against established 3rd tier outfits like Peterborough making excuses for the inevitable defeat before the first ball has been kicked. As for what's being said on this thread and across this forum about it being a young team needing time to mature and 'gel', hogwash. That can't be squared with the excuses being shoehorned into reality for the unsustainable way that the club's finances are being managed. If we are always going to sell any genuine talent to manage losses then we'll always have a young and underperforming squad. We are sleepwalking into the 4th tier, at best, and I see no sign that the finances are being brought under control.
