Newport didn't win the game, we gave it to them. Lockyer and Gosling only players who came out of this debacle with any credit. We desperately need an Andy Rammell type player!!!!!!!!!!!! Gosling? A powder puff performance from him although he did tackle once

BBC says 22 shots for Rovers and only three on target? They have four shots on target and score four? That tells a story doesn't it about our strikers? And our defence

Parkes absolutely awful: headed and own goal, then literally gave their forward the ball 6 yards out, in between that our goalie drops the ball on the boot of one of their forwards. Meanwhile our midfield get over run and when we do get the ball we put 21 passes together, 10 sideways, 10 backwards and a hoof forward. terrible, if any of them cared no of them showed it. DC needs to kick arse for the next week, and replace Parkes

Our misfiled or lack of it was what made the difference plus Easter acting like royalty and wanting the ball on a plate. In all honesty, not the worst performance but they came to win and we lacked that today. Too many players who thought that playing the channels was enough. I won't go further as I feel upset

While Parkes had a poor game who had a good one? Leadbitter made fewest mistakes and was good going forward, after that?

If you take the game at half time, I thought we had played really well. We kept the ball, got tackles in to win possesion back, Parkes played well but was under pressure for a freak own goal. So let's go get the next goal after half time......Matt T glances a free header off target from 5 yards out, then 1 min later our keeper drops it for another gift. We miss 2 more chances and they score. Even at 3-1 down if we had put some pressure on by converting a chance they were there for the taking. Confidence drained, crowd frustrated.
Created enough chances to score at least 5, yet the worst opposition I have seen this season score 4 from 4 shots. hopefully a one off bad day at the office!

Pretty lack lustre display all round, for me they didn't look interested almost as each player wanted someone else to take responsibility. Sinclair ran about a lot produced nothing,Lockyer was reasonable as was lead biter but even those two were only a five out of ten.
The players let down DC and the fans today end of, first half they did just enough ,second half a complete disgrace

Could Leadbitter have really done anymore this afternoon? Worryingly he's playing like Smith during our relegation season.

Ryan Brunt scores injury time winner for Argyle .Wish we had strikers like him!!!!!!!!!!!! We did, but we released him because he earned too much money and needed a little TLC in the short term, to overcome an injury problem . . . but it was mostly the money that did for him as I remember. But then again he was 21 years of age, so clearly his best years were behind him. I often wonder whether his chief tormentor on here ever has any regrets about the personal and professional abuse he heaped on Ryan Brunt. Probably not is my guess.

He left Easter out there when it was obvious after 10 mins that he wasn't interested. Eventually, when the game was lost he took Easter off and replaced him with Ellis, who was made to play wide so that Taylor could continue missing chances that my Granny would score. 10/10 to the supporters though, yet another dismal home display and the crowd stuck with the players.
