A win would take the club to 3 points off Sutton in 5th and, perhaps more importantly, 5 points off Tranmere in 3rd with a game in hand and 5 points off second. It really is a must-win game. But then so was Oldham, when the team pitifully capitulated and played like they had just met in the car park before the game. We've heard enough from Joey, including his last interview in which he made 10,000 fans at the Memorial sound like the Bernabeu before a Champions League semi-final. You've played at places like Old Trafford and Anfield, so please don't make out like you were in awe of a sold-out Mem, which was actually relatively muted, by all accounts. Nothing less than a convincing victory will do. Time for the team to put up or shut up. You could have had my ticket for free for tonight as well. With your cheery nature, you'd have been just the one to liven up the alleged muted atmosphere. If anyone knows any marines,please tell them it. |
