What a very good keeper in Ansi if it is James B. So long as the defence know he doesn’t play as far forward as James B and won’t be as quick to cover balls over the top it will be fine. A sign of a strong squad keeper-wise.

Belshaw is good with the ball at his feet, not sure if Annsi is as confident, as i am struggling to remember him outside the box with the ball. He is a quality keeper though and it's his chance to claim the number one spot again. |

Maybe bas but I’ve seen too many cock ups from keepers trying to do that if they’re not comfortable doing it. A split second mis-timing and you’re facing a red card and even a pen. Let the keeper play his normal game that he’s comfortable with and defenders need to be aware, imo. UTG! |

Did JB want that from his GK at the start of the season or did he introduce later? Hopefully Anssi can play it. Anyway, as we've been saying,great to have 2 great GKs and an excellent prospect in Jed. |

I can't remember this discussion about our 2 best GKs at Rovers happening before Wareham.🙂 Perhaps not the most riveting of topics,but I think it's actually a first,for us. It'll be interesting to see how Anssi plays at Sutton. I will say this,in the past in these situations I've sighed because I'm bloody sure the GK coming in is'nt even EFL standard. Not the situation this season. Rovers the professional. Love it. |

I don't think it is bollocks at all. The most insightful bit of evidence is the interview that Luke gave himself, acknowledging that he needed a kick up the ass. I really don't think that he was following anyone else's script than his own during that open and refreshing interview.
I'd also observe from his (limited) appearances early in the season, he was nowhere near as active, aggressive or productive as he has been in recent games. The Oldham game being a prime case in point.
