Game over lost 2-0, Hull now top, we are now in the zone of death and playing as well as our cricketers. Accrington Stanley (who are they?) and Wimbledon next 2 games both at home. Lose to Wimbledon and we may as well call it a day and play the Development Squad to get ready for next season. I have always been the eternal optimist but I felt more confident when we fell out the League than I do now. The play is boring and methodical with little battle or flair yet we do have some skilful players. We just don't seem to be able to do the basics or muster any get up and go. There is a malaise over the whole club with players going through the motions, fans at each others throats and a Board that have little or no direction. For the first time since our move to Twerton I fear for the future of the club and even then I had more optimism than I do now! It’s been written in the stars for a while, a soppy owner who is too easily seduced by novelty and fantasy unable to deal in hard reality. Everything else feeds off of that. Continuous bad decision making down grading every area of the footballing side. GC leaving was the catalyst and it’s hard not to look at the fact that when GC forced himself into the job it was circumspect that he wasn’t necessarily chosen by the board. When Wael has been left to his own devices to hire the manager it has ended up going tits up. Not helped by shocking recruitment but whose recruitment seems to be a matter of some debate. Apparently Widdrington just produces names out of a tombola and it’s the manager who decides which name is brought to the club. It’s all a mess and yes, we’re in the grip of malaise.

The ref, the Hull playing style? The centre forward falling over? Ben Garner? Graham Coughlan? Dennis Rofe? I’ve no idea, I didn’t watch it, but I can’t wait to find out

16th time we have failed to score this season and 10 wins in our last 48 league matches.
The development striker Phillips Walker and Warwick need to be put into the squad to see if they can score.
Our defensive coach needs to do overtime with our defence.

Hi guys. Just been banned from the children's forum. I only said that Leahys effort for their goal was pathetic. We desperately needed a striker. If we go down it will be on TW,I think Seems that when things get a bit sticky the other forum find honesty a bit difficult to deal with. Tell it how you see it is what I say. If it's any consolation I got banned from gaschat for winding up Somerset gas when I said he should support Yeovil. He sent me a personal message which was far from complimentary saying someone of my advancing years should not wind him up! Then he complained to their moderator. Fair trial I don't think so ..carrot crunchers annoy me

so, Twitter SuperStar, Mr Punchy, 4 games, 3 defeats, including throwing away a lead at home to Wigan.
0.75 points per game.
Brilliant, just brilliant.
Where are all his fan boys now saying that all that's important is that he's going to win us matches?
This club has been a complete joke since the day Higgs handed the keys over to Wael.
And this leads us into our next question, where exactly is Wael whilst the club is in total meltdown? He seems to be strangely quiet.

Life’s too short to read some of the bile and personal abuse being chucked about on there. I enjoy some of the posts that don’t agree with me on here as it’s usually with good humour and respect.

We only lose on Saturday's and Tuesdays. I'd bought a full week pass for the Slapstick! Festival, which is online this year. Been some great stuff like Laurel & Hardy, Harold Lloyd, Buster Keaton, along with great guests and presenters. The event this afternoon that clashed with today's game was "Henning Wehn: Why I Love Helge Schneider (presented by Robin Ince)". Despite having no idea who Helge Schneider was, and then not finding his humour translated well for me, I still feel I did well to avoid the £10 to i-Follow!

Time for him to go on having a Gas with Geoff and explain himself and how we have managed to be on our 3rd manager of the season and what the plan is going forward.... ....never going to happen though. Wael doesn’t like scrutiny and has avoided Geoff ever since the infamous interview on the opening day where he let slip about the stadium plans, iirc.

He gave an interview to some Middle Eastern rag a couple of years back where he touched on his long term plans for Rovers, he mentioned the PL. Yea, if you say so Wael, what was that, Isthmian Premier League? He'll be absolutely hating this, spoiled rich kid now facing the reality of the consequences of his poor decision making being played out in public.

I get the impression from a Wael that he comes out with this stuff because it sounds lofty and noble but he has no idea how to go about it. It’s like me saying “I want to drive a Ferrari to work in a years time” - a great ambition but I wouldn’t even know where to start trying to earn that sort of money. I agree that he’s probably seething at the moment, pretty much because he’s hired two managers this season and neither of them have made a bit of difference and the club is going down without a whimper. He’s being shown up that he knows nothing about running a football club.

For me, I retract the 1-0 prediction and place us clearly with daylight two goal defeat.... Just sayin... How sad it was easily predictable. Ok, Hull are a much better team than us. I thought their goalscorer and especially their number 2 was m o m. Hull looked much more at the races than us, physically imposing, better one touch passing, better movement off the ball, and defensively more organised. They're a team we can aspire to. Having said all that, I thought we definitely looked more comfortable in approach in the second half. Our structure appeared more balanced when we reverted to a 4 defence, and two up front. Ehmer was rightly sacrificed, whether it was injury provoking sub at half time or not, don't know, but it was brave to make a captain change, because I couldn't see either manager doing that before? How ironic that the replacement skip had a game to forget and was probably culpable for both goals...? Still can't see Day gets the gig? Just never comes off his line. Any set piece cross on or around 6 yard area leaves our defence in desperation....JVS makes attempts to punch it clear, this to me lacks confidence but he was not at fault with the goals today.... actually give credit for a block in second half. Leahy had a mare. Very unforgettable match. A shame as I've supported his inclusion this season but I guess it was his turn to make the mistakes that cost us? Why don't we capitalise more on mistakes the opposition make? I thought Williams played poor again, got himself booked and wondering where he was for second goal as fella was unmarked? Again? I thought JAB made mistakes in starting line up, but credit for trying to change it second half. It didn't quite work but could understand what he was trying to do. Maybe too little, too late. Understand Walker inclusion, and used to see how he hopes, it appeared to work but we are desperate to put ourselves in that place to start with. We are in dire straits to retain our 3rd division status as again defensive frailties show and last ball choices in attack were even poorer....a recipe for disaster and time is running out....

Now the lowest scoring team in the division.Tells its own story and underlines the absurdity of not loaning someone in the window.
