Good to see Westbrooke with a spring in his step.Leahy leading by example with 100% effort and Rodders contribution was very important.Lots of positives with Hanlan's goal and George settling in well.Think Ehmer and Baldwin will struggle to get back in.

We were 3 at the back when we had the ball then 4 when they had it. Baldwin coming on gave us 3 centre halves and some confusion for the defence. Baldwin did not help organise like he should.
Interesting to see how well some of the players that have been criticised are playing. Leahy, Harries, Westbrooke in particular. Grant i feel is underrated by some but he is, too my mind, proving to be a very good acquisition.

I’m sure there’s plenty of celebration on gaschat. I haven’t read anything on there since someone posted that we’re now bigger than city because of Wael and Barton’s Twitter numbers. This modern era of Twittersphere seems to be a big issue to us as well. It seems you can be worse than rubbish at politics and football management and civil society in general yet end up in the White House as leader of free world, or as leader Bristol Rovers leading the Gas World - on the strength of your TWITTER box office!!! Whose under Twitter spell on this forum? Is it back to age thing again? Average age of other place about 12, +100 years for this place.

I like Twitter for its speed, to find out about emergency situations and for news but I have made comments and been then bombarded with abusive replies. I now browse rather than post. I browse Facebook too

But these players were brought in by Widdrington who is hated because he told the gloved one which players to select.

If we lose against Burton people will go back to saying the recruitment was s**t pretty quickly. Always the way with Rovers fans. Beat Portsmouth- recruitment fantastic, lose to Gillingham and Wigan - players are gutless and can’t defend or score, beat Shrewsbury- we’re going up. I would say the answer lies somewhere in the middle, but that’s also arguing that the table is lying and we’re in a false position in March which I don’t think is the case either. We’ve had bad managers but the manager can’t run on the pitch and mark up to shore up the mistake ridden defence that has shown no aptitude for the basics of their role. Or get on the end of the chances down the other end that our strikers conspire to miss. One thing is for sure, Burton won’t roll over on Tuesday. It’s going to be a sterner test of this defence than Shrewsbury managed to conjure up.
