Slow, ponderous, unable to pass accurately, cannot shoot, cannot create. I'm away from home and my mobile data expired with 10 mins to go, blessing in disguise.

Teams are like dogs, they take whatever their manager throws at them. Tisdale is certainly ponderous in everything he does. No urgency whatsoever. His first game was the 1-0 defeat at Swindon, the poorest team I've seen yet this season and there for the taking. Fair enough he didn't know the players, but any new manager worth his salt would have seen the opposition weaknesses and passed instructions on to the players to ensure he got off to a good start. Garner's away record this season was W2 D2 L1. It was his home record that let him down, but that's typical for young sides. I'm sure he wouldn't have lost that game. His last game against Fleetwood had sack written all over it and I'm sure the players had got wind of it because they played like zombies. Blaming recruitment is not exactly a confidence booster for these players and is just another nail in our League 1 coffin. If Tisdale has no faith in them then he should go now and be replaced by someone with passion who can lift them back up from zombi land, preferably someone with PL or Championship guile and experience.

The saving grace is there are another six clubs just as crap as us! Well - looks like 5 now. Swindle now favourites for the drop at 4-9. Wigan/Burton been stuck in the bottom 4 all season. Both 1-2 to go down. Cobblers 4-7 Then 'Dale 4-5 And the Gas at Evens. Wombles now at 2-1. I was rather hoping that we could pull clear of this lot. Now I'm left hoping that they can continue their equally dismal runs and we stay up by default.

The saving grace is there are another six clubs just as crap as us! Yes, between Rochdale and Shrewsbury there is a huge 6 point gap now, like you said it will be 4 from those 7 stranded teams. We have got 3 of those teams out of the next 6 games, it will be a very dire situation not pick up points versus them. Swindon, Wigan & Burton = 9pts, Portsmouth, Gillingham & Shrewsbury = anything. Teams below us are also playing each other in those 6 games too.

For the first time this season I have taken a break. Started by avoiding the Accy game (which was one of the better decisions I've made recently!) and have carried on. £30 saved so far - can't say I'm currently regretting the decision.
I have true status as a Rovers sucker prepared to drive 4/5 hours to watch games that I know in my heart we will lose - so all I can say is that if I've had enough of forking over my £10 there must be quite a few others in the same boat.

Long distance travelling & suffering Gasheads unite. I've cut back from every game, to every other game. At 7:30pm yesterday I watched Bob Ross, the Joy of Painting.

In L1 and the National League there must be decent players we could acquire somehow. Our debts have been cleared so say, so why we cannot fork out a few small fees for players is beyond me. How many players could we really afford and why are we not doing this ?

This is a terrible team with rock bottom confidence I think we are not far from it clicking, 15 shots last night against Oxford, scouser was going mad, we are going to smash someone soon, I feel Oztumer is underperforming and should be made to earn his place.

Rovers have a penchant of relying on the unreliable.

Basically what he said was if we go down it's not his fault. I didn't hear anything that suggested he was going to do his damnedest to make sure we didn't. Was it this that got him sacked? There ought to be rationale. Let Widdrington lead his squad into League 2. and resign his directorship.

The talk before this game was 'fine margins', it's what Karl Robinson was saying.
And so it turned out: we're going for the equalizer, had chances, had a glorious chance late on that wasn't taken. McCormick and Nicholson in acres of space at the back post - surely one of them has to just tap it in? McCormick running in puts it wide (to be fair he again had a great game otherwise) when surely it was easier to score. If he leaves it them I'm certain Sammy tucks it home. Having decided to take responsibility Luke has to convert in that situation. In the end it looked like they get in each others way.
Within a minute later, Oxford go down the other end, score a second, and put the game to bed.
Fine margins.

Wimbledon away though...
5th December. That was the game: just our luck concede an early dodgy penalty --> but the new look Rovers control the rest of the game --> 64% possession / 23 shots / 8 on target / 9 corners --> passing the ball round lovely --> Wimbledon just can't get the ball off us --> great goals.
And one thing that really impressed me was the determination to win the ball back; typified by the team busting a gut to get back an defend, when Wimbledon attempted a break away.
The turning point surely ...
