Disagree, Eppers me ole mate. If you are prepared to give credit to a manager, logically a level of blame had to be levelled in the same vain? Starting a match with 6 defenders resulting in a negative result needs some sort of explanation somewhere doesn't it? Agree with keeping the faith.... it's all we can do as paying fans, but this does demonstrate how far we've dropped in an amazingly short amount of time!? Having read your thoughts... I don't think we saw the game massively differently. With the unbalanced squad Tisdale inherited, we're almost 'forced' into playing three at the back. How else can we set up? We haven't got any 'real' wingers. The only natural width we have is with Williams/Leahy and that was working well. With Ogogo protecting the back four and Oztumer, Nicholson, Westbrook in midfield we looked solid enough. Maybe a bit over-cautious? But with a leaky defence, and slightly suspect keeper - that's what Tisdale looks like he is trying to tighten up. Whoever was supposed to be near post and/or marking Lund for their 1st needs bloody shooting. I think Annsi would have saved that scuffy shot from Newbie. And it was far too easy for him to get round Leahy though for their 2nd (and only their 2nd shot on target). I don't think Dale were the better side. Our 2 late substitutions were a bit baffling. But what quality is available off the bench? Answer: None. That's down to recruitment. Daley comes back to partner Hanlan. Annsi comes back and the defence will look more comfortable. I think some of the very negativity responses to the result are a bit over done. IMHO. UTG. I didn’t watch the game but having read the reports, particularly comments from Rochdale fans who thought they were fortunate to come out on top, I still think Rovers will survive in League 1 this season. But when we are only prepared to discuss the symptoms and never talk about the root cause of the problems at Rovers it’s not hard to reach the conclusion that many Gasheads must actually enjoy being survivors rather than winners.

Nail on the head. Our support has been either naive or blind to this and many still rally to give support to those who have caused those problems. Can you imagine if this was NH in charge now and yet WAQ seems to still have a large amount who cannot see just how much harm and danger he has put us in. To have more than trebled the previous incumbents debts takes some doing.
