Wael appointed Loser Boy. Wael was full of himself, telling anybody who would listen about his master plan to turn us into a L1 version of Southampton. It's just cowardly not to accept responsibility for your own mistakes, which is why I'm sure Wael has drafted his apology already and will tell us that in future he's only going to deal with the business side of the club and he's going to leave everything football related to people who know what they are doing. An apology won’t achieve anything though will it ? What Wael needs to do is to find a way out of the mess he has created. For his sake and for Rovers’ sake. No, it wouldn't in itself have any tangible effect on our position, but it would demonstrate that he understood that he's at least in part responsible for the complete mess that's been created.

Snakey Again .We are very ordinary and our only hope is to bring Ayunga on who has never scored!!!!!!!!.So many out there who are not up to league one standard and our skipper doesn't exactly gee us up. We didn't learn the transparent lesson of replacing JCH. It was the same lesson of replacing Lambo. It's actually worse, because we only have one striker and no support for him.

Sadly no youth players coming through up front. How on earth have we ended up with just a single striker as I don't count Ayunga? To make it worse the other lot won away and we still have no stadium news. I had a weird dream we won away at Ipswich and were in the top four. Why did GC really leave? Currently watching Cheltenham.Recall when we were asked to go there and choose a seat for two seasons whilst the Mem was re-built!!! Had my doubts when the Mem remained totally in situ and we were told they hadn't demolished it ready for the new build 'As the players needed somewhere to meet before games!!!' Only at Rovers!!!! Cheltenham looking organised. Is Sercs injured???

Partially responsible ? The business side of the club has been run in a calamitous way since 2016 and for the past thirteen months the football side has followed suit. If nothing changes Wael will keep making mistake after mistake until his money runs out and it is at that point I fear the worst for Rovers because I’m not sure he will understand what is the “right” thing to do.

Well, this isn't what anybody would have expected.
Garner obviously had to go, however, 13 games is more than long enough to have a look, see what's wrong and sort basics out.
L1 isn't exactly a tactical master class, it's pretty basic stuff, so we should see progress in the first quarter of a season.
Nope, we've actually got worse under Tisdale.
Garner's last 13 matches, P13 W5 D3 L5 F17 A23.
Tisdale first 13, this includes a Gimme against a park team which we won 6-0, P13 W4 D0 L9 F20 A20.

Self belief. I can do it. I can do it. I can do it, I can do it, I can really move from my head right down to my blue suede shoes.
Isn't it? Rubettes, 1973 ? Marvellous.

I wonder what the answer was to Tis's question at the interview for the job when he asked how much flexibility he had to make changes to the squad?
You can't blame Tis for the quality of the squad, you need to look above and behind for that but if has failed to attract better players then that is down to him, unless his hands are tied.

He knew the squad when he applied. Any manager knows January is not a time for many changes. He selected the team of central defenders today. His edict seems to be experience. At the moment would prefer the naivety of youth in forward thinking positions.

He did have other options before he took the job so I think he has been made promises. It waits to be seen if those promises were available for January or if he was told to cross his fingers and wait until the end of the season.

I expect I'll buy a match pass for Tuesday night. Knowing full well only humiliation is the likely outcome. Hope springs eternal.....

Why would he ask that? As a football 'person' based locally, why would he not know of the problems with our squad? No, sign on the dotted line, and if sacked - has to be paid off.

Every manager asks that question. What is my budget and if somebody has been their before, how much is left? Tisdale is unorthodox because he manages clubs with a business acumen so it is unwise to bracket him as a gravy train manager.

You can't leave out Garners results from the first period of his mismanagement when comparing with Tisdale's.

We're shi# and we know we are! That said with games in hand and some decent players to come back I fully expect us to keep our League One status. Reality check spare a thought for Hartlepool 💦☔️😤🗣🌂who lost to Weymouth!🏖🚣♀️🏊♀️🏄♀️🍦🍟🐙🦀👙🕶🌞 Sky's Jeff Stelling must be turning in his chair!

A squad he assembled that contained only three strikers. Tisdale has encountered significant injuries to Jaakkola, Daly, Nicholson, Oztumer and now Upson - all of whom would be in the first XI. Daly has been out since 29 Nov; Jaakkola since 8 Dec; Nicholson & Oztumer since we beat Blackpool on 2nd Jan - which is the last time we won. If you picture a starting XI that looks like this: Jaakola, Leahy, Kilgour, Ehmer, Williams, Upson, Westbrooke / Grant, McCormick, Oztumer, Nicholson, Hanlan / Daly - suddenly it doesn't look quite as bad?
