that's it all over 0 - 1 Garner out! Yes Garner out because we’ve lost the vast majority of games not because we are 1-0 down now. I knew we would lose, we cannot score. All over with Twenty minutes to go

Probably the most uninspiring fixture so far. Two off form teams with nothing to play for. Not even a well known breakfast cereal would make this entertaining. Throw in some unpredictable weather, and we may have a match to forget...? Anyways, it's sunny here at Mem atm, and cider is flowing. What could possibly go wrong? I'll predict: 4-3-3. 0-0. Struggle huff and puff. If conditions don't get the blame for a lousy performance, the officials will. And we move on to the same groundhog day next week. Here we go again! Just got back! I apologise to everyone for my optimism in the score, but everything else was pretty much spot on. Oh dear! It wasn't even a 4-3-3. It was more like 4-1-1-1-1-1-1-1! No one played as a team outside the defence, and again one up front (?) Wtf? One up front at home v a poor team on poor form?? BG is clueless. Predictable 69 min substitution after enforcement of jch sub. Awful. No idea going forward. My m o m Blackman for his saves to keep us in it, outside player, Rollin....and he was subbed! Haha! It comes to something when the usually tolerant Gas crowd turn in numbers....getting sacked in the mourning (morning) was the song. I think that's too late.

Personally delighted as I saved another £40 by wisely not going. Ha - beat you. Costs me about £60 in petrol + price of admittance to the tented village. I'm planning on Accrington away and Union Berlin / Paderborn and I think that's me pretty much done for the season. I usually go to Roots Hall. I think I'll pass next week. Had enough.

To those people who were all excited 2 weeks ago, see what happens when the opposition keep all of their players on the pitch?
Sad at what's happening to our club.
Angry that someone is bottling a decision that it was obvious needed to be made after just 3 or 4 games of Garner's total chaos. Now it's gone on for so long that everything we had that was good is totally ruined and we need to rebuild from scratch.

Oh dear oh dear. What was the crowd today, if it was given out ? 6,954 apparently. That is still very good when considering what has been on offer

That is still very good when considering what has been on offer Remember that season ticket holders are counted, whether they turn up or not. There weren't many left in the ground at 90 minutes, plenty had seen more than enough.

That’s me done until Garner is gone. Trouble is he probably won't be sacked. His employers won't have the guts to admit they've made a mistake. Probably cost too much anyway. We'll just limp on.

We won't fire him in the next few weeks we aren't leaving this division this year and we won't be wanting to pay off his contract. But if performances continue like that then he will have to go near the end of the season, so replacement knows what they are working with next season.
He sounded pretty down in his post match interview,i felt sorry for him, really want him to turn this around, but I simply don't understand not playing 442 today.

Neither my football buddy Norman or myself, both long term season ticket holders attended today, the second home game on the trot. Neither of us will be renewing next season.

No point whatsoever in him staying 1 more minute. It's unfair to him, the rest of the coaching staff, to the players, to club employees who have to face supporters, and of course, to us supporters. If this were a boxing match the referee would have stopped it before now to save the crowd from further punishment.

Struggling to see what ginelly and mitchell-lawson were supposed to be doing. I was thinking they would give us width and pace but they were tucked in very narrow and yet seldom ran beyond clarke-harris. Baffling! No barrett in the squad. Menayese who we tried to sell in january starting ahead of harries who we signed on a long contract in january?? Holmes-dennis on the bench but if he is fit surely he should play. Confusing.

I keep going, the club only survives with our money, but the place was totally flat for 80 minutes today, then the North Terrace livened up, almost in defiance. 7000 after 1 win in almost half a season. This club doesn't deserve the support it has.

Keep him as coach? Save paying him off and that's his area of expertise?

Left five mins from time unusual for me Tammy was an embarrassment as were most of his teammates except Blackman, Rollin and Daly. No organisation or creativity badly missing Lines.

No we are not - he would bring us neither. We are missing a manager who makes the best of the tools he has to work with. I don’t think our squad is as bad as 1 win in 17 as Coughlan showed. Benny is like a man who is trying to hammer nails in with a saw because he thinks it is a clever thing to do

Thoughts of a drunkard...
They were terrible, we weren’t even that good.
That is all.

Struggling to see what ginelly and mitchell-lawson were supposed to be PLAYING IN A SUPPORTING, PACEY ATTACKING ROLE OF A 3 UP FRONT IN 4-3-3, BUT NOT EXECUTING IT THUS MAKING THEMSELVES OBSOLETE. I was thinking they would give us width and pace but they were tucked in very narrow and yet seldom ran beyond clarke-harris.YEP! Baffling! No barrett in the HE'S IN AKINFENWA SUPPORT GROUP. Menayese who we tried to sell in january starting ahead of harries who we signed on a long contract in january?? YEP! I THOUGHT GOOD GAME TODAY, BUT RUMOURS ARE HARRIES IS A REPLACEMENT FOR UOSON? (EVEN MORE BAFFLING?) Holmes-dennis on the bench but if he is fit surely he should play.NOPE, TOO LOGICAL. WE PLAY PLAYERS OUT OF POSITION, REMEMBER? Confusing. YEP. 1/17 WINS AND MOST CONFUSING IS THAT'S ACCEPTABLE ENOUGH TO BE IN A MANAGEMENT JOB!? Great exam questions. I've tried to answer in capitals. How did I do?

Outrageous ha I thought menayese played well also.

Keep him as coach? Save paying him off and that's his area of expertise? May have worked a few games ago, but his credibility is shot to pieces now. Bye Ben.
