Can't stand this dull, defensive football. Coughlan out. Seems your wish may be granted....... I was of course being heavily ironic. I think GC has done brilliant under difficult circumstances and I'll be gutted when he is gone. When we sink gracefully down the table (or drop like a stone) after he's gone, his critics might come to appreciate him.

So we'll ignore Tyler's header that was well saved and say we outplayed Bristol Rovers in first half.
Maybe confused between outplayed and possession in one's half.
Actually, our defence outplayed your attack... No time for losers that can't understand football. Ipswich have big club syndrome, they expect things because of their history and crowd size.
Rovers humbled them in a different way. And rightly deserved a result..
Play to your own audience at their own peril..

So both ends of the scale and we mopped up anything they had bar the goal which was very good. Awesome team effort from our boys

OMG - just seen the GC threads. Shakes head in disbelief. [br So when you met them in Reading services it wasn't mentioned? ? Apols for slow reply. Not mentioned by the players but would be strange if they had unless asked directly. I didn't do so as I had no idea as had not seen the GC threads at that time. What did strike me as odd was that Boycey and Coming 'Ome were with the players on the coach. Maybe the latter wasn't such a surprise but I thought the former was no longer anything to do with the club. Perhaps someone who knows more about these things and how the club is structured would be able to say if this is abnormal or not. My take on reflection is that this does not add up at all, especially with the reaction of GC on the pitch at the end of the game. I may be making 16 out of 2 and 2, but could imagine that he was told that JCH is being sold in Jan, and playing budget to be severely chopped. I can't say I've particularly warmed to GC and his brand of football, but do like the way he's made us very hard to beat, and the results he's achieved which have been beyond my wildest expectations. Hope we can get a decent replacement but please not Olly - his time has come and gone. Reckon we're going to get someone from within (Manse/Maher/Hargreaves?) as caretaker for a while - possibly till end of the season. Fingers crossed that they turn out to be good at it.

All things considered, that's a great result. Well done Rovers!
