Well, there is a certain “weighting” of the opponent, but only when it suits. No-one on Asshat is harking back to Stevenage as the antithesis of Sunderland, but then that result doesn’t count either because family problems.

The only results we can reliably judge Garner on are the ones where we didn’t lose, it seems. In which case Garner is actually a pretty decent manager all things considered. I can understand the optimism now. Happy days.

We were doing ok for 59 mins and then a straight red changed our thin hopes, we even lasted another 12 mins with 10 men, 3 goals in the final 19 mins sounds pretty clinical - 18 shots to 4 says it all.

If JCH made more runs in the box we’d score more. Today he faced the wrong way as usual but unusually for him he got som good flick-ons instead if going to ground to win free kicks.
